I was thinking about the way angles go in the wwf and what I would do if I were a writer in the wwf. They call it "fantasy booking" and I have to say that its kind of fun. Oh well enough my bullshitting, onto the show. Before I start, the one thing you have to do is to suspend belief a little. These events would never actually come to pass, but if they did I could guarantee the highest attended, largest buy-rated and highest grossing Wrestlingmania in history. So strap yourself in and get ready to enjoy the ride, cause its gonna be a fun one.

Aug 19, 2001 Summerslam:

In the first half of the "double main event" The Rock and Booker T have a hard hitting, nip and tuck battle for 25 minutes until the referee gets knocked out in the corner, with Booker T reeling and The Rock's attention fully on him, shane takes full advantage of this opportunity and nails The Rock with his "flying chairshot" and leaves The Rock laying on the canvas, bleeding from the head. Still groggy Booker T sees his fallen opponent and goes for his so called "most electrifying move in sports entertainment:the spinarooni" the only problem is Rock gets up half way through and when booker finishes the maneuver, he walks right into "the Rock Bottom", after dispatching Shane with a blow that lands him outside the ring, The Rock hits "The People's Elbow" and gets the pin to win the "wcw world heavyweight championship"

In the second half Austin and Angle also fight a hard 25 minute battle that goes back and forth, toe to toe. The end comes when Angle slaps the ankle lock on Austin, Austin taps but its undetected by the referee because he is distracted by Tazz or Shane(or someone equally as distracting, who it is doesn't matter in the storyline" who runs to ringside. From the other end inside comes debra with a chair but shes stopped by Angle, who lets go of the ankle lock, Austin picks up the chair Debra drops, wacks Austin in the head with it, picks him up, kick, wham, stunner and its over. Winner Steve Austin

Aug 20, 2001 Raw the next night-sept. 22, 2001:

The next night, Angle cries foul and challenges Austin to a no-holds barred rematch at Unforgiven. Out comes The Rock, who tells Angle he can have his match with Austin at unforgiven, but he wants Austin's ass right now to unify the titles. The crowd goes nuts. Out comes Austin, Shane and Debra. Austin says there will be no rematch tonight or any other night. Angle accuses Austin of having no "guts" and of being afraid of Angle. Austin becoming visibly upset accepts Angle's challenge to a bout at Unforgiven. As The Rock is about to object to this, Shane steps up and tells The Rock that he doesn't have to worry about Austin tonight, he has someone else to worry about, again since its unimportant to the main storyline this could be anybody, maybe Test?? Kanyon?? Doesn't matter. The Rock dispatches of Kanyon that night, but after the bout Booker T comes out seeking revenge and just lays out The Rock with your choice of weapon.

The next couple of weeks is dedicated to building up Austin vs. Angle and The Rock vs. Booker T in a pair of no-holds-barred matches at Armageddon. The added incentive to win those matches and to make people forget that they are watching the same match-ups from the previous pay-per-view, Linda McMahon makes the announcement on either a Raw or a live Smackdown that the winners of the "double main event" at Unforgiven are to meet at "Survivor Series" to unify the titles.

Sept 23, 2001, Unforgiven

Both main events are again hard-fought and go down to the wire with, of course, The Rock and Stone Cold coming out on top and going on to Survivor Series to unify the WWF and WCW Belt.

Sept 24, 2001-Nov 17, 2001

The hype machine is in full effect pitting these two "Icons" against each other verbally and one-upping each other physically on each and every raw and smackdown. The pay-per-view in between, No Mercy, can be used for a tag match with the Rock and Austin on opposite sides, or if you wanna have some fun, on the same side. Either way it ends with one or the other, probably Austin coming out on top one way or another. All this leads up to the ppv that will drive wrestling on through wrestlemania 2002

Nov 18, 2001 Survivor Series

The epic battle between Austin and The Rock is a slobberknocker of large proportions. Both competitors have blood on their heads but they keep fighting as if it's nothing. In the key moment of the bout, the referee takes his bump and his knocked cold. With the ref incapacitated and the Rock with the advantage, out comes shane to floor the Rock once again. This brings out someone not seen for a while in the ring, Vince Mcmahon, he floors shane with a punch and they fight on the outside both Austin and The Rock lay motionless in the ring next to each other when over the loud speaker comes the loud sound of a keyboard sounded like horn, the crowd loses their shit as Goldberg runs up the ramp and plants himself in the ring and springs into his spear stance. Both the Rock and Austin slowly rise to their feet right next to each other. When they both reach upright Goldberg takes off right for the rock, then quickly swerves and spears Austin. The crowd again loses their shit. The rock falls to the mat from the collision, Goldberg jackknifes Austin, throws rock on top and ladies and gentleman The Rock is your new WWF and WCW world champion. In the ring afterwards the Goldberg stands tall, the Rock looks confused and Vince is smiling. Vince hugs Goldberg and Goldberg hugs Vince as the Rock looks on astonished.

Nov 19, the night after

The Rock disavows all knowledge of the Goldberg/McMahon plan. Out comes Vince gloating that he not only has the championship in the wwf but he has the wcw's best wrestler in his camp. Goldberg comes out and says he did it not only for the money, which was substantial, but cause he was tired of being compared to Austin and called a "stone cold" clone. Austin comes out pissed off, calls McMahon, Goldberg and The Rock all jackasses and challenges Goldberg to a match at Armageddon. Goldberg and McMahon accept as the Rock looks on as a bystander.

Nov 20, 2001-Dec 8 2001

The war of words and actions heats up between Austin and Goldberg as we get closer to the ppv. They go back and forth like rabid dogs trying to inflict the most amount of damage on each other that they can. Meanwhile the Rock faces the challenge of Lance Storm at Armageddon. Storm, being the IC champion, took the initiative against the Rock, sneak attacking him on the Smackdown after the Survivor Series.

Dec 9, 2001 Armageddon

The Rock dispatches Lance Storm in a grueling 20 minute battle to retain his belt. Austin and Goldberg fight tooth and nail in their bout which ends in a no-contest when one or the other, probably Goldberg, just goes nuts on Austin and tries to take him out permanently with a chair. Austin is carted away on a stretcher as the ppv ends.

Dec 10 the next night

Austin, talking from his home tells Goldberg that he will get him either before, or at the Royal Rumble, either way is alright with him. He is also the first to put his name in the hat as a competitor in the Royal Rumble itself. Goldberg comes out, makes fun of Austin and tells Austin to "come get some", a line clearly stolen from Rick SteinerJ he then puts his name in the hat for the Royal Rumble.

Dec 10 2001-Jan 20, 2002

The large time between ppv is perfect for Austin to "heal from his injury" which he does for 2 weeks before returning on tv to interrupt a Goldberg match on raw. The 2 fight like cats and dogs the next couple of weeks until the actual ppv itself. The Rock finds himself a suitable opponent for the rumble, (insert your choice for suitable opponent here.)

Jan 20, 2001 Royal Rumble

Rock defends his title against whoever. As predicted, the end of the royal rumble comes down to Austin and Goldberg. Now the ending can go either one or 2 ways. Either you have 2 referees, one wcw and the other wwf seeing the ending 2 different ways or you can have the one guy go over the top and no one sees it and then comes back in and knocks the other guy out. Either way you need a controversial ending that leads to the prerequisite match at "No Way Out" with the winner getting the shot at the title at Wrestlemania.

Feb 17. 2002 No Way Out

After a couple of more weeks of knockout, drag out fighting. Austin and Goldberg meet for the right to face The Rock, a winner in his match against, um DDP, earlier in the night at Wrestlemania. Their match is a violent affair that goes for a good 25 minutes. In the heat of the battle and both men almost out on their feet after taking each others finishers…the lights go dim, the sounds of motorhead play out over the loudspeaker and out comes HHH with sledgehammer in hand. The crowd loses their shitJ he comes down to the ring, wacks Austin square in the face with the sledgehammer, turns to Goldberg and smiles, when Goldberg turns around to pick up the fallen Austin, HHH rears back wallops Goldberg in the back with the sledgehammer. The Game then proceeds to beat down both Austin and Goldberg with the sledgehammer and is standing tall as the ppv ends

Feb 18, 2002

HHH comes out as the show opens and says he wants his spot back. He says that Austin and Goldberg aren't in his league and that means that he and not them deserve the shot against the Rock at wrestlemania. This brings out Austin and Goldberg, separately of course, to dispute what HHH says but HHH challenges them to a triple-threat match that night on raw for the shot against the Rock. Needless to say the match ends up in a no-contest and there is no clear cut challenger for The Rock at wrestlemania. Linda McMahon shows up on Smackdown to announce that on the following week's raw, she will make an announcement about The Rock's challenger at Wrestlemania

Feb 25, 2002::the biggest raw in the history of the WWF

Linda McMahon teases for an hour before coming out at 10 O'Clock to make the announcement that will rock the wrestling world and bring about the biggest match in the history of wrestling "…at wrestlemania the Rock will face Stone Cold Steve Austin, Goldberg, and HHH in a fatal-fourway match with a special stipulation. This match will be a 2 fall match. The first fall will be for the WCW world heavyweight championship. The second fall will be for the WWF heavyweight championship" the crowd totally loses it at this point and all 4 men go at it by the end of the night

Wrestlemania

What happens here is up to you to decide. I see Goldberg winning the first fall to become the wcw champion and then who knows to win the wwf title. It depends on who the wwf wants to carry the banner for a while. Any one of the 3 men are capable of doing it. Btw, just for shits and giggles, on the undercard Kurt Angle and Lance Storm fight not only for the honor of the USA but for the IC championship as well :)

Anyway that's my scenario, I hope you had as much fun reading this as I did writing it. Come up with your own or just enjoy mine. :)maybe we can turn this into a new game, just for shits and giggles ya know:)

Very interesting topic you have started Face. Im glad you did start it, i only have a few criticisms. I dont know if every one would agree with the way you have this booked. Its pretty much having the same 6 or 7 wrestlers as the main event until wrestlemania. Could get old fast, especially if you have the same main event for summerslam and unforgiven.

Plus, no mention of Flair or Steiner to the main event status, no push of the younger guys...im not dissing your post, but it could use some expansion to it.

**EDIT** I will do my fantasy booking before every show, starting tonight with Summerslam, and then monday afternoon with RAW, and so on.

I actually typed a much more detailed summerslam, but the fucking screen erased it and said i didnt log in, which was bullshit. Anyway, this wont be as informative, cause i aint gonna type for another hour. Here we go: my Summerslam booking. Now this stuff probably wont happen, but it would be interesting if it did.

Match 1: XPac vs Tajiri
Solid match having Tajiri do his finisher on XPac, but Albert puts his foot on rope. Then Regal and Albert fight, and out of nowhere, Jerry Lynn comes out and cradle piledrives Tajiri, letting Xpac win the match, and starting a big push for Lynn, Xpac, and the crusierweight division.

Winner: Xpac

Match 2: Storm vs Edge
Have storm dominate first half of match with Christian pretending to try to help out edge. Then Edge comes back and spears Storm, pins him, but Credble is distracting the WCW ref with christian. Edge then goes outside and beats up Credible. He gets 2 chairs, gives 1 to Christian, and goes in the ring. They go for the conchairto, but Christian hits Edge in the stomach and then the head. Storm does Maple Leaf and Edge doesnt respond. Storm wins and the new Impact Players are Christian, Storm and Credible.

Winner: Storm

Match 3: APA and Spike vs DUDleys and Test
Bradshaw and Test start. Bradshaw whips some ass and tags Farooq, who does the same, who tags Spike. Spike goes for dudley dog but test pushes him off of the ring. Tags Buh Buh, and him and Devon begin to tear Spike up. Then somehow Spike low blows Buhbuh and tags Bradshaw. He comes in and clears house. Eventually it turns in to all the guys in the ring. Then Dudleys and APA fight outside which leaves test and spike. Molly gets dragged in by test, and as spike goes to save her, Molly lows blows him!! Test then does the big kick, and wins. Then afterwards, Molly kisses test and laughs at the fallen spike.

Winners: Test and Dudleys

Match 4: Y2J vs Rhyno
Rhyno dominates after Y2J does flying forearm to start lol. Goes for quick gore but hits turnbuckle. Jericho then starts to turn it around, and does bulldog. Goes for pin, but Steph puts Rhyno's foot on ropes, Jericho then goes for steph, gets her in the ring and kisses her!! He lets go then Rhyno goes for gore, but he hits y2j and the ref. Rhyno picks y2j up and goes for another one, but steph low blows Rhyno!! JEricho is in shock, but ends up winning the match after lion sault. After the match, Steph is smiling, and goes up to jericho and kisses him back!!! They walk back arm in arm, as rhyno is very pissed.

Winner: Jericho

Match 5: RVD vs Jeff Hardy
Best match of the night, make it last at least 20 minutes. with both wrestlers doing insane spots...like Jeff Hardy missing a swanton off the top of a ladder onto a table, and RVD doing a VAN Terminator. One catch, let Jeff somehow win clean. Then this lets RVD focus on higher tier matches and higher tier belts.

Winner: Jeff Hardy

Match 6: Taker and Kane vs DDP and Kanyon
Worst match of the night, i know its a cage match but i hate evryone here, except for kanyon a little. Let DDP diamond cut Taker finally!! Anyway, let Taker chokeslam Kanyon off the top of the cage onto the mat, caving in the mat (it can be fixed after the match). Taker and Kane win, but after wards, DDP diamond cuts Taker, and takes Sara away.

Winners: Kane and Taker

Match 7: Rock vs Booker T
Great match for the sports entertainment fans. Booker does his rock pose on the turnbuckle. Have rock and booker go back and forth, all over the place. Rock attempts peoples elbow, but shane interferes. Then booker gets up kicks him, and does ax kick. SPINAROONI!! then another kick. Rock then blocks the bookend, and DDT's him. Goes for pin, but Shane pulls out ref. Rock then beats up shane outside, then booker gets rock and throws him in the ring. Attempts people's elbow, but gets confused, and rock low blows him. Then rock spinebusts him, and does his people's elbow. Booker kickout!! Rock then picks him up, but all of a sudden...BOOKEND. But Rock kicks out!! Then shane hands booker the belt, booker swings and misses, Rock catches him and rock bottom's him, and wins the match.

Winner: Rock

Match 8: Austin vs Angle
I want Angle to win this, but he wont, and there is one reason why...SCOTT STEINER. Angle will start by kicking austin's ass. Austin then gains upperhand and wears angle down. Austin goes for stunner and Angle gets him in ankle lock but austin gets to ropes. Then Sean Stasiak comes down, gets the title, and tries to hit Angle but angle ducks, and he hits austin. Angle then beats up Stasiak. Then Taz and Raven come out and Angle beats both of them up. After all the distractions, Angle goes for olympic slam, and austin blocks and does stunner. But Angle KICKS OUT!!! Austin is insane now. He stuns the WWF ref. He goes outside and pushes Debra. Comes back in, and Angle all of a sudden olympic slams him! Then Angle goes for ankle lock, austin is tapping like crazy, but there is no ref. He picks austin up, as Hebner is trying to wake up, and overhead slams him. Puts him in 2nd ankle lock, austin is taping again, but now Scott Steiner comes out with a lead pipe and nails Angle twice with it. Then he knocks out Hebner as he is trying to get up. He puts Austin on top of angle, and Charles Robinson comes out and counts the 1-2-3. This will eventually set up the Angle vs Steiner (all american) feud.

Winner: Austin

Hope you enjoyed this. If you have any comments (besides the xpac match cause i know no one will like that one lol) feel free to comment on it.

Too many turns Cluster. Molly, Steph & Christian?
This looks like the most predictable PPV in some time, with Austin & the Crock winning. Hope I am wrong and a few swerves are thrown in

True, but this is a fantasy thing, not all of this is gonna happen., its just stuff i want to happen. 2 of the 3 could happen, i truly can see Molly ditch Spike and Christian ditching Edge. I do think Steph will go with y2j, but probably not at summerslam. Thanx for your input though.

i dont say this often, it takes a lot for me to say this to someone, but please get adopted beerman. Triple posting is hard to accomplish, plus what you said has nothing to do with fantasy booking.

Great topic face, too bad i was out for 4 days and couldn't respond to it!! Great call on the Booker/Rock thing too!!

I like your ideas guys, but what about this...

At Survivor Series, just when we think that Austin is gonna get beat by Goldberg, we hear the 2001 theme kick in, and out walks THE MAN! The Nature Boy comes down to the ring, stylin and profilin, wooing all the way. When he gets there, both guys are standing there, jaws on the floor, not sure what to make of it. Then from behind, Scott Steiner comes into the ring and wallops Goldberg with a steel chair and tells him that he retired his ass once, and he will do it again. At this, Austin turns around and pins Goldberg to get the win, and Flair and Steiner join him for a post match beer or 3.

From here, Flair can become the voice of the Alliance (which they sorely need!) and Steiner can be the true badass that they need to accompany Austin. It will also help because they just don't have the star power to go up against the Crock or Kirk Angel.

I would also love to see O'Haire and Palumbo get a decent match against anyone in the WWF locker room, but that would really be a fantasy, even beyond all this booking...
