You people are obviously wrestling buffs so please jot down a few lines of info on the behind the scenes info on wwf / aliance . what i mean is do they rehearse fights do they make it up as they go. who decides the matchups... who writes the soaplike storylines.. so you know what i mean all the background stuff or maybe you can point to any websites that provide this info.

For the most part, the basic layout for a match is decided on ahead of time, but much of intra-match work is done on the fly. Listen closely, you'll hear the guys "calling spots" sometimes.

Vince is in charge of everything. Period. The soap-opera storylines are written mostly by Stephanie McCans and her tribe of failed sit-com writers, while the booking of matches and feuds and the like is done by committee, with Paul Heyman, Pat Patterson, Undertaker, HHH, etc. But everything goes through Vince.

The Refs in the WWF (not sure about WCW) also play a much bigger role than most people think. They call much of the spoting and control alot of the moves that are done. A few of them get involved with the creativity as well.
