| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | - To update recent reports earlier today about the actual announcement of WrestleMania not being reported by major Toronto media outlets. Dave Meltzer was recently on Live Audio Wrestling, one of the things noted on the show was that mainstream everyone was centering around the announcement acting as if they didn't know what the announcement was. However, there have been numerous outlets, including the Canadian press newswire, that tomorrow's announcement would be that WrestleMania 18 is coming to the Skydome. The Toronto Star reported yesterday in a city hall column entitled "WrestleMania will help city hit new lows," that WrestleMania comes as this amateur-hour consolation prize after not getting the 2008 Olympics. - As far as the main event for WrestleMania goes, it is scheduled to be Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Triple H. A title is expected to be on the line. Currently, this is only tentative and plans could change. I'll keep you updated on this as more news is developed. | ||||

That said, what do you expect, RVD? Wrestlemania is SUPPOSED to be the biggest names of the year in the main event, and they are almost always Rock and Austin. That said, I can certainly understand if HHH gets the nod as this guy wil be HUGE as a face when he comes back (especially if he goes to the WWF and asks Steph for a divorce because she is in the Alliance and is sided with Austin, who he hates, MAKING STEPH FREE TO BE ALL MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
