| BAGWELL, PENZER GONE FROM MECW
by Dave Scherer Updated: 9/10/2001 8:32:34 AM
MECW's Tod Gordon announced yesterday on New York's "Get In The Ring" radio show that the company and the mercurial Buff Bagwell have parted ways. Bagwell was one of the first big names that MECW owner John Collins signed to work for the company a few months ago. Bagwell received a less than cordial response from the fans at the ECW Arena last month when the company taped its television pilot. Bagwell also refused to do the job to Steve Corino, which was what was booked for him to do. Gordon also told me that the company will no longer be using ring announcer Dave Penzer either.

| Will this idiot ever learn. If he had a half a brain in his head, he COULD have been a big star. Maybe he can get fired from another Indy league or even Japan. He has no place else to go in the US.
What an asshole.

| No, this is terrible; now who will the Arena fans have to rag on at the next MECW show? ;-)
I predict Buff doesn't learn his lesson and ends up in either XPW or JAPW by year's end.
