Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70	Shawn Michael’s could return for WrestleMania. Michaels just signed a contract extension with the WWF. The WrestleMania commercial that aired on Raw showed Michaels several times; he was the only wrestler featured who hasn’t been active recently. Triple H is without an opponent for WrestleMania. Yet the WWF, Michaels, and Triple H continue to say that Michaels isn’t going to be ready to wrestle in time for WrestleMania. On his website this past weekend, Michaels detailed his status. “I have not been contacted even once since I met with J.R. I signed my new contract and have heard absolutely nothing so your guesses are as good as anyone’s. My guess is no one knows what or where to put me and quite frankly, neither do I. None of the writers know me. I haven’t been around for a long time. It’s a tough situation. I think everyone should be patient. It’s always better to have a well-thought-out plan as opposed to just being thrown out there.” He added that he is never nervous about his first wrestling match. “Being visually in shape and ring shape is very different,” he wrote. “That’s what I think I’m worried about most. I used to never blow up or get tired. Now, though, I just don’t know.” He joked that those who didn’t like him but had to admit he was a great wrestler may now be able to add that he’s a bad wrestler, too. “I’ll be a prick and a sh*tty wrestler,” he joked. The latest word is that the Hardys will not be splitting up anytime soon. Sources say the Hardys approached members of the writing team and talked them out of splitting up the tag team. These is now a lot of speculation that the Hardys will turn heel since the writers feel they’ve run out of ideas for them as babyfaces. A lot of wrestlers still don’t care for Trish Stratus and feel she is “fake”. On the other hand, Stephanie McMahon continues to receive praise from wrestlers who describe her as being “down to earth”.
