A wrestler spotted Brian "Grandmaster Sexay" Lawler's name listed on this weekend's travel itinerary. With tonight's Smackdown scheduled to be held in Memphis, Tenn., it is plausible that Lawler could return at that show and also work this weekend's pay-per-view. However, the wrestler who spotted his name was quick to point out that there was no talk backstage of Lawler returning.

If you can't tell this is going to turn out false than there is something wrong. They fire him for possesion of a controled substance and they will re-hire him within a few months? I doubt it cause if so then Road Dogg who was better than him should be back.

i could honestly care less if he came back, i never really liked him anyway. i just thought it was interesting to read. i think the "controlled substance" he was caught with were some kind of pills for weight training that are legal in the u.s. but not canada, so i dont see why they wouldnt hire him back.

Do you honestly think Road Dogg is a better wrestler than anybody? That guy was the biggest waste of space, yea he was entertaining a while ago but it got old fast and he didnt have any wrestling skills to back himself up. The GMS gimmick started off funny as hell but also died out quickly, however at least Brian Christopher is a good wrestler. Bottom line, WWF doesnt need either of these two especially Road Dogg cause he sa-huh-huh-huh-hucked!

I have to echo Harry Ballzanya 100 percent. Road Dogg had no wrestling ability. Billy Gunn had to carry the in ring work. The rumor was that it was only pills for weight training that are legal in the u.s. but not canada. But he also had drugs in the car that he claimed were not his but his friends. But he is definently a better in ring wrestler than Road Dogg.

Actually, 1wrestling.com is reporting that both Lawler's were backstage at Smackdown as guests of Jim Ross. They went on to say that there weren't any contract or other negotiations with either of them, and that it shouldn't be taken as a sign that either of them will be back with the WWF.

atleast road dogg had a good place in the story lines, he and billy gunn made a better tag team than grand master and scotty too hotty, and road dogg had some of the best mic skills ever, but at the same time im sad that grand master is gone, i usually used his matches for my piss break whenever xpac was not on the show

Actually, Brian said, in a statement at KingLawler.com, that they WERE his friends, and NOT his, but when the police ASKED him, he said they were his, because they were in his posession.

So he meant well...but he was a moron.

I hope you've got your things together.
I hope you're well prepared to die.
Looks like we're in for nasty weather.

I miss the road dogg i would rather lose billy gunn than him. But he is gone and that is that, it's not as big a problem as would losing stone cold or the rock so the company didn't suffer. But as far as grandmaster who gives a shit?

The report of him being backstage is true, but goddamn I hope that untalented motherfucker never gets back in a WWF ring...and hopefully he took Scotty 2 Faggy with him...

Also, Road Dogg was at least fun to watch on occasion, whereas Billy Gunn makes you want to stab yourself and others...to quote Norton "He stinks!"

It's not funny, my ass is on fire....
Thanks to the lovely Jolene for my sig pic...

Douche or dressing? Yeahhh!!!
