Dave Sherer of 1wrestling.com reported this earlier today:

quote:

To follow up on the story I posted earlier today, the word I am getting is that Kronik was fired by the WWF yesterday before Raw. It was no secret backstage that their performance against the Undertaker and Kane at the PPV got them heat backstage from management since the match was so bad. By yesterday afternoon, Kronik had left the building before Raw and the word was going around the back that they had been let go. Given that Brian Adams is very close to the Undertaker, it's interesting to see that the team has been let go since the Undertaker commands a lot of respect from the WWF. With Kronik being let go, they join Buff Bagwell as former WCW acts that didn't last long in the WWF after the WWF buyout of their former company.

They will be sorely missed.

DISCLAIMER:
The Above Statement is Sarcasm boys and girls.

Its over a decade later, but I still will never forgive Brian Adams for Roooooning the Greatest Tag Team Ever- Demolition.

And Please, nobody start the 1,857th thread of who's the Greatest Tag Team Ever.

Adams will not be missed but Clarke will. I think he has a lot of potential and could make a great singles wrestler.

I liked Clark as Wrath when he was on his own in the WCW, just before he blew out his knee...but Adams has been crap since his original run as the extra member of Demolition. He's shit! Thank God they're gone...the two of them move slower in the ring than Hollywood Hogan carrying Kevin Nash on his back.

Does this mean that Steven Richard will not be seen for a while? I am so disapointed.

Are you kidding?
When I used to wrestle my pillow, My Pillow gave stiffer shots and had a better work rate than Brian Clarke.

Well i tend to agree that the taker has grown to be really one dimensional. But you have to give the guy credit for all the dues he has paid and he still commands an awesome pop, kane on the otherhand uhh nuff said.

i for one actually like adams better than clarke but i won't miss them.

Puh-leeeeeeeeeeease lol...I could give you at least 5 teams that were better off the top of my head: Midnight Express, Rockers, Eliminators, Hart Foundation & The Road Warriors ...

Althought I like Clarke better too, u do realize he's wrestled for like 15 years now, right? Pontential of a 15 year old veteran has already been shown, he's not getting any better...

It's not funny, my ass is on fire....
Thanks to the lovely Jolene for my sig pic...

i'm happy that they where fired. these wcw teams come into the wwf thinking they deserve everything and to be put into main event angles right off the bat. i think the wwf made the right move by letting them go.

The Rockers! Ha Ha! Thats funny. You'd be better off with the Buschwhackers. I remember when the Demos used to pound the shit out of the Rockers and the Rockers couldnt even get any offense in.

The Rockers were an exciting young team, Shawn Michaels went on to Icon Status, Marty Janetty went on to bag groceries and job on the side for years.

Of course, that would be the doings of the booker, and not necessarily the shortcomings of the Rockers as a tag team. Michaels and Janetty were masters at selling, and hence, were booked to sell the majority of the matches, much the same way the Hardyz are today.

And in the case of Demolition, Barry "Smash" Darsow went on to be a Repo Man and a wrestling golfer, while Bill "Ax" Eadie pretty much retired (which led to the addition of Crush). I'd say post tag-team stardom, the Rockers have the clear advantage. Plus, the Rockers did some stuff in the AWA which was WAY ahead of its time, before they joined the WWF...

This just in...According to the Ross Report, Clarke was fired, but Adams was not. But don't expect to see him on TV anytime soon.

I hope you've got your things together.
I hope you're well prepared to die.
Looks like we're in for nasty weather.
