| Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01  | I'm just really bored, so I thought I'd post this. PWI magazine just announced their annual Top 500 list of professional wrestlers. I don't know what criteria they use to make up this list but some of the picks just seem very random, like they were shooting darts at a dartboard instead of weighing the different wrestlers' strengths and weaknesses against each other. Also, as a fan of all different styles of wrestling, I can definitely say that the editors of PWI are quite ignorant when it comes to puroresu and lucha libre. | Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | This is just completely random. It's like they didn't have a set criteria and just threw some non-WWF wrestlers in there to shake things up. The criteria couldn't be just wrestling since The Rock is at 14 and he's not the best wrestler. Maybe they just made an exception in his case. As for RVD, if they did strictly wrestling, he would be ranked WAY WAY too high. But taking into effect that they probably took charisma and ability to pop the crowd into account, I think they ranked him too low. ------------------- But there's also this: there are over 5,000 men in this city, who know that being a policeman is an endless, glamourless, thankless job that's gotta be done. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jul. 01 | The thing I find most amusing about this year's list is that Joe Rules, an indy wrestler whose whole gimmick is based on his placement in the PWI 500 list (he started out as Mr 500, and was Mr 438 last year) is now considering calling himself "Mr NL" (not listed) after learning his name was included in the "Farewell to the 500" list.
