| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00  | NEWS: ECW Living Dangerously Officially Cancelled in the U.S. March 9, 2001 By Denny Burkholder WrestleLine Staff Writer As expected, Extreme Championship Wrestling has officially cancelled this Sunday's scheduled Living Dangerously pay-per-view, in both the United States and Canada. I received confirmation early this morning from Jade Levine of DirecTV that "our broadcast of the 'ECW Living Dangerously' event has been officially cancelled." This news comes one day after it was reported that an ECW lawyer contacted Viewer's Choice and cancelled the event, according to Bill Custers of Viewer's Choice Canada. It's long been considered a formality that ECW would end up cancelling the Living Dangerously pay-per-view, due to the company being on life support and losing talent by the week. No official statement has come out of ECW yet, but with the PPV cancelled, it stands to reason that ECW's fate is closer than ever to being sealed.   | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Oct. 00 | No big surprise with that announcement. I read that in some places, the cable companies will be re-running the January in its place. Hopefully the cable outlets here will show it. Also on their website, they'll be coming out with their first PPV "Barely Legal" on DVD next month. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Its amazing that here we are 2 days before the Pay Per View and the OFFICIAL annoucement comes now. Well duh. First off they never announced a site. They never sold any tickets. They have nobody left in their promotion. I think it was pretty obvious many many weeks ago that this Pay Per View wasnt happening. Thats like The Weather Service confirming today that it will NOT be 100 Degrees out tomorrow. Well duh. but then again with the weathermen, you never know.  | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | Yeah cablevision has been running a message all day apologizing for the canceling of the PPV. but without rhino, credible, lyn and tajiri what kinda car could you have? Plus rhino was the world champion how do you explain his disapperance? Plus last i heard van damme was in japan for a couple weeks and wasnt even interested in wrestling on the ppv.
