I predict that I will regret shelling out $25 for a ticket to this show.

I also predict that I will probably end up sitting next to some smelly, sweaty, 350-lb 45 year old guy who insists that wrestling's not scripted and will scream "What?" all night long (if this is the case, I also predict I will be arrested for attempted murder).

I also predict that Hydrated Peach will never be satisfied with anything she sees in wrestling, even if it is a good show...although killing a fat guy yelling What all the time would be fun to see.

I predict that though it would be nice to see the nWo interfere in more than one match, they will probably not show up until the last 5 minutes.

Ill go one better than that. I Guarantee thats what will happen. And we will see a locker room with the nWo on the door and Michael Cole or The Coach or one of those buffoons trying to get an interview but getting the door shut in their face.

Surprise, surprise, the nWo cost Austin the belts. At this point I'm convinced that the WWF TRIES to be super predictable.

Considering the nWo was on Heat, I don't think you could be anymore wrong.

That was the only predicatble part on the show. Who thought that Angle and jericho would have won their matches? And who thought that the nWo would show up right away? We all were prepared to wait until 10:40 until seeing them. And who would of thought that the Acolytes would have won that tag turmoil match. Sure, a lot of it didn't make any sense, but it wasn't predictable.

Jerrico and Angle for the wrestle mania main event? Two top heals? Will Angle turn for the 100th time since his arrival in to the WWF?

I was willing to give this story line a chance, but after seeing Hall and Nash, I got reminded on why I always hated to watch them. It is obvious that the Undertaker will be joining the nWo, and for good reason. Those four are a match made in WWF angle history heaven.

On the other hand, I am expecting some of the best promo's ever. The Rock will have some more great one liners and Stone Cold will have some geat moments of "WHAT??"
In my opinion, it was a very disapointing PPV.

What a suck-fest!! i can't believe i paid $30 for that crap.could the crowd have been any less bored than what they were?? Austin/jericho was terrible how many time can you chop someone? HHH/Angle was predictable. and are we soposed to think that the tag team title match at WM 18 will be Spike,Tazz v.s APA come on that will change 3 times before Mania. I hope Mania can rebound from this

Am I the only one who found that Rock/nWo promo to be great? I was surprised the nWo started the show, also without Mr. McMahon who "brought" them into the WWF! As for the main event interference, no shock there. If anything, I figured Jericho might lose the belt, onlt to win it back either tomorrow on RAW or Thursday on Smackdown (can you imagine? A title change other than the Intercontinental Title on one of the network shows? Be still my beating heart!)

I also foung the Rock/Undertaker match to be decent. UT actually moved around alot, he didn't look as sloth-ish as he usually does.

Overall, a decent PPV - but they're always decent for me since I don't pay a dime to watch them ;)

I'm glad I got it just for the fact it was the first time seeing these guys back in the WWF in a long time, but overall it wasn't that great of a PPV. The RVD-Goldust match was clearly the best.

The best lines of the night were:
Hall - "I'm gonna drink some beers with the WWF superstars." This then prompted a Hogan and Nash response of telling him no. Fucking classic!
J.R. in response to a Goldust elbow - "Was that a Bionic Elbow?" refering to Dusty Rhodes' finisher.
King to J.R. - "Did you hear about the guy in Oklahoma who froze to death at the drive-in? He was there to see the movie Closed for the Winter."

Yeah I know, I know. I should have taken the safe route and said that I guarantee this PPV will suck.

Actually the PPV wasnt that bad, but nothing great by any means either, and the nWo was misused.

Wow, other than the NWO, that PPV sucked! Im glad Angle won, but it doesnt make any storyline sense other than the fact that steph and hhh hate each other more. Most of the matches were flat out boring. APA winning the turmoil match?? You gotta be kidding me. Regal sucks, thats all ill say about him, and Tazz and Spike winning? Retarded since APA won. Im guessing RAW will be great tomorrow because they have to make up for this subpar event. And how many damn times do i have to be told that they are live during a match?

Only positives: NWO. The Rock interview in the back was GREAT! And when Austin threw the beer down on the ground, did ya see Hall eyeing it the whole time? LOL.

The big question is where do things go from here leading into Wrestlemania. No way in hell they are gonna stick with an Angle-Jericho main event. No one would pay to see that.
If they are stupid and do go that route, then the only possible thing that will save Wrestlemania would be the nWo (Hogan, Hall & Nash) vs Austin, HHH & The Rock as a co-main event match.
That I'd pay to see.

Thank god that I have the benefit of t3 lines in the dorms here at school. Now i don't feel bad that I only paid $15 and the rest of you had to pay thirty. That PPV was aweful. The Rocks segment, "And you big man, Diesel . . . toot toot." was hysterical. The final match I thought was ok.
This also proved how aweful the Undertaker has gotten. He might as well take a nap in the middle of the match. The RVD match was descent. I thought Golddust did ok for only being back for a month. The only really good match was dudley's and hardy's for the brief 5 to ten that they wrestled. Overall, I was disappointed.

francine, how are we supposed to know if its just a ppv? If you expect it to suck that's one thing, but to expect a huge ppv only to be let down is another.
