My favorite part in ECW that made me laugh until my face turned red and I started crying was at the PPV Born To Be Wired where The Dudley Boys are going against Axel Rotten and Balls Mahoney. Buh Buh was in the ring with Axel and Axel kept telling Buh Buh to tag D-von in and Buh Buh kept saying no and shut up ya faggot. Finally Buh Buh (I think he got scared) said, "Fuck you", and tagged in D-von. And D-von just stood their like a deer seeing light.

That wasnt a Pay Per View, but the funniest were all of the Gertner/Dudleys promos. When the Dudleys imitated Public Enemy's return. When Taz was talking on the mic, and somebody interrupted him, and he's like "Oh excuse me, I forgot everybody is here to see you, so Ill just sit back and let you talk" and then the guy felt like a dick and everybody chanted asshole.

YES. That was hysterical. The fans chanting "Welcome back" to the Dudleys as they danced in the middle of the ring was a nice touch, too.

Bubba Ray (as Johnny Grunge): "Things are a little different. I don't see the same ugly rats I used to fuck when I was here 3 years ago."

(Suddenly, a group of fans single out ECW fan/photographer/groupie Mary-Kate, pointing to her and chanting "She's still here! She's still here!" The Dudleys walk over to that side of the ring, as MK tries to make herself invisible)

Bubba (big shit-eating grin on his face): "Hey girlie, I'll meet you back at the TraveLodge!"

Another favorite moment of mine was when Blue Meanie and Nova, with a pailful of weapons, came to Tommy Dreamer's rescue as he was being attacked by Danny Doring, Jacko Victory, and Mike Lozansky. When Nova unveiled his Captain America shield, the whole Arena went ape-shit. Plus, you just can't get much funnier than Tommy's whiter-than-white dancing during the postmatch celebration.

Joel Gertner's prematch introductions, and anytime Stevie / Blue Meanie had the mike during their BWO stint.

"Like the bulls of Pamplona, man, people are charging the store to buy this, man. Little children are breaking their piggy banks to spend their last dime on it, man. And little old ladies are turning tricks at the bingo hall, just to buy it for their steenkin' grandchildren, man. What is it? The Tickle Me Meanie Doll, man. I call this one Chico!"

Funniest moment in ECW history for me was seeing New Jack jump out of a balcony and put Joel Gertner through a table....and hearing Joey Styles scream upon impact, "Joel Gertner's Dead, Joel Gertner's Dead, Joel Gernter's Dead!!" in the same high-pitched voice that usually was reserved for "Cat Fight!"

Coming in a close second was any of the many times a wrestler ran his mouth before a match with the Human Suplex Machine and the audience chanted "Taz is gonna kill you!"

God, do I miss ECW!

One match I remember was Francine going in to help The Franchise, giving someone a hurrican-rada and hearing Joey Styles yell" OH MY GOD....ITS A COOCHIE-CAN-RADDA"....."Well she is a coochador after all". Shit killed me! I still use the Coochiecan-rada line everytime a female wrestler wrestles.

My favorite of all time and I still have this on tape was when Steve Austin first showed up in ECW.
The Public Enemy and the Gangstas were feuding and during the TV taping Joey Styles got word that there was a fight backstage. Every camera that tried to catch the action got busted so Styles ran back with a camerman he found. While the two teams were fighting, you could see some guy in the backround making all kinds of stupid gestures. When the camera finally panned to him it was none other than Austin dressed up like and imitating Hogan. I die laughing everytime I see that.

Thanks Mrs. Moosen for the pics.
You are getting good at this cut & paste thing.

I miss ECW bad. The guys I miss most are Joel Gertner, Joey Stiles, and Sabu. Remember every match Sabu was in he would use twenty tables? I actually think (and this is my opinion) that The Dudleys were the best comedy team in ECW. Born To Be Wired was so funny.

Axel: Tag D-von!
Buh Buh: No!
Axel: Tag him, now!
Buh Buh: Shut up, ya faggot!
Axel: Tag him.
Buh Buh: Fuck you! (tags D-von)

I think it goes something like that.

new jack always cracked me up with what he brought down to the ring

i also remember one time he brought a nintendo down to the ring that was funny as hell

That has got to be fucking hilarious. I havent seen that yet.

Being in the audience Living Dangerously in Asbury Park was amazing. Seeing Taz and BamBam going thru the walkway. IF ANYONE HAS A TAPE OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY 1998 IN ASBURY PARK PLEASE E MAIL ME..JBLANK31@AOL.COM...I cannot get a copy of that anywhere.

Someone told me once that there's a right and wrong, and that punishment would come to those who dare to cross the line. But it must not be true for jerk-offs like you. Maybe it takes longer to catch a total asshole. But I'm tired of waiting. Maybe it's just bullshit and I should play GOD, and shoot you myself. MJK
