This is from 1hugegroupofhermanphrodites.com

------------------

Tom G. sent word that through the cable company where he works, they received literature from the WWF that as of now, the only time Raw talents will work against Smackdown talents (after the draft) will be in the Royal Rumble match and at WrestleMania. The plan for now is that the PPVs after the draft will feature wrestlers from both shows, but not in cross promotional matches. Also, as of right now, the WWF plans to add four new PPVs in 2003.

----------------------------

I figured I'd post this because if it is true, it finally settles the PPV controversy once and for all. I'm sure everyone will STILL bitch and complain about SOMETHING, but you don't have to send terrorist threats to Stamford, CT for them having twice as many PPVs now. I would think they'll still have one a month with half of the matches being Flair's WWF and half being McMahon's WWF. There also would be a reason to start interpromotional rivalries during that one event a month so that there is a storyline for all the interpromotion matches that will happen only at Wrestlemania.

If it is false, it is STILL worth starting a new topic over, because it finally reveals 1wrestling.com's sources! What's next? Jim D., the janitor for the Continenral Airlines Arena spoke to Vince McMahon himself and he told him that Lance Storm will be WWF champion in April of 2007! GOD BLESS 1BOB AND THEIR ACCURATE SOURCES!

I like the idea of having the only cross-promotional matches at Mania and the Rumble. That would work out great. It would be cool if they made the King of the Ring tourny bigger and have two tournaments and have the winners fight for the K.O.T.R. title. Plus the build will be huge for Mania if the two guys hadn't wrestled together in over a year, it would have great anticipation. This would be a good idea. But adding 4 more PPV's I don't really like...

skitchr4u,

Who says they'll split it up with one company going first and then the other company goes? They could always alternate the matches. I say have King and JR split up (Keep JR on Raw with some new announcer dude [I've heard Raven is a possibility, but I've also heard Regal, and that would rule because that way he can stop wrestling and boring everyone to tears!] for Flair's WWF and leave the King with Cole on Smackdown with Vince's WWF), and then once a month on PPVs, the King and JR team up so there is one Flair commentator and one Vince commentator for the PPVs and then you don't have to worry about dividing the show up into two sections for purposes of changing announcers or any other reason you can think of.

That said, I do agree with Harry, wait until it's official to comment. Remember, cable info once stated that Flair would have Smackdown and Vince would have Raw, so it's obvious plans change every other friggin second.
