| Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01  | I think the highlight of of the evening had to be the Bikini Match. How Hot was Terri in that Thong? Good GOD! Overall, it was okay. I wish they would start to develop a story for Lesner, he's a monster. No Suprise, Austin's on Raw. Pretty weak though, April Fools, that ole gag.... | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Raw sucked. The NWO is completely worthless. Only good match of the night was RVD and Booker and Latino Heat coming back. Other than that the night was garbage. The split is stupid becausae they are not pushing the the other guys anyway. Raven was a one match and done champ. Crash Holly does not belong on my tv screen. Kane is being pushed to the moon now, but I could not care less. I hope everyone likes the split because we will see garbage on top of garbage.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | More raw thoughts: Raven loses title after one match. Back off tv for you. Tommy Dreamer loses to Shawn Stasiak in the Sunday Night Spoilers. Crash "His Boy Elroy" Holly sucks. -Big Show and Kane are forever midcarders no matter how big WWF tries to make them now. -Xpac sucks. -HHH, NWO, Flair, Undertaker, Austin will still get majority of tv time. I miss Angle, Rock and Jericho being on both shows. Who doesn't love the fans at Raw chanting in unison, you suck to Kurt Angle? -Since HHH will be on both shows does that mean he will feud with someone else besides the Undertaker? I hate the split already. I was the one person who hated the split idea the entire time. Is Brock Lesnar ever going to get in a feud. Too bad Rhyno wasn't around. Will Paul Heyman ever talk? | Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | Ok Raw, I think they have to still work out the kinks of the split as they have to work on re-establishing characters. The reason the split is great is because you will actually SEE Raven on Raw for once and they have to, obviously, establish their characters. In due time, they will get the crowd to identify with the characters and the quality of the show will, obviously, increase as people care about them again. And, TeenWeek, yeah, who wouldn't want to see the same old guys pushed down our throats! SOUNDS GREAT!!!!!! Fuck new guys getting a chance! WE WANT TO SEE 80% of the show taken up by the same 4 people again while guys like Spike Dudley are treated like shit!!!!!! THAT WOULD BE GENIUS!!!!! After all, Stone Cold and Rock became household names right away and they didn't have to make a name for themselves in the undercard. How silly of us who like the split for being so shallow! People only want to see Angle, Hogan and Rock and that's it! Damn, I really gotta start using that Sarcasm button we got here on the tool bar. That said, they really gotta even Raw up with Smackdown more with trades. Smackdown will end up beinig like the WWF before this week with all the main eventers there cluttering up that space and Lance Storm won't be as lucky as Bradshaw or Raven or Spike to get that much deserved face time. As for the rest of Raw, I liked it. I was sick last night though and fell asleep at about 9:30 so I missed the last 40 minutes. Last thing I remember is Kane getting the big boot from Nash. Glad to see that Eddy is back. He definately looks a hell of a lot better. One thing I didn't like is Bubba Ray Dudley as the hardcore champ. They want to push the undercard guys? Fine with me. But I think Bubba deserves more than just the damn Hardcore titla.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | I have another question with the PPV's. They said that the 4 major PPV's, Royal Rumble. Wrestlemania, Summerslam and Survivor Series they will have interpromotional matches. What about June's Pay per View, King of the Ring. Will they hold 2 tournaments? Like 4 wrestlers from Raw and 4 from Smackdown and have 2 champions. If they don't meet that night, the 2 winners could meet at Summerslam. Anyone else think that this split won't last the entire year? | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01 | Last I heard on the PPVs is that the only inter-promotion stuff happening is gonna be on Wrestlemania and that the Royal Rumble match itself will have wrestlers from both sides squaring off, but not the other matches on the PPV. As for the KOTR tournament, I also read that they will have a Raw bracket and a Smackdown bracket and the finals on the PPV will have the Raw bracket winner facing off against the Smackdown bracket winner, in what would be the only one-on-one Raw v. Smackdown match of the year not to be on Mania. Of course, the KOTR info was from a not too dependant source (even by internet standards) so I don't know about that, but it is the ONLY news I've read on that situation. Knowing the WWF, it wouldn't surprise me with their lack of patience if they canned it sooner than later, but I hope they don't. Like I said above, the benefits of the split will come gradually, as right now it's like a rebuilding period with both brands working to establish names that have been neglected for the past couple of years. The split will look alot better in 6 months, when the characters are more well rounded than today and have been elevated enough in the eyes of the fans, than it did last night (not that it looked bad last night, IMO), and they have to exert some fucking patience for once if this is to be as successful as it SHOULD be. You know, kinda like the invasion angle they fucked up by rushing to cheapen inter-promotion wars because Booker T and Buff Bagwell had ONE sucky match on Raw. On a side note, since I forgot it in my other post on this topic, Ric Flair is God. Any man who can make me laugh so hard my sack caves in by doing something as simple as doing a kneedrop on a fucking can of beer should be up for sainthood. It'd be pointless to nitpick much further, but there are 2 observations here that I think point to just how glaring a problem they have with RAW: 1. Major TV exposure of Bossman. FUCKING BOSSMAN. 2. Potential *main-event* feud featuring Bradshaw. Those words should NEVER be assembled together, ever. No one should ever even think of that particular concept. At this point, I'm thinking they had better give half the Smackdown roster to RAW if they want the show to actually stay alive and not just start to sink like the Titanic. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 01 | Raw was pretty shitty! I like the new set and all.. but everything else sucked. Great way to kick it off with a pretty good match beatween Booker/RVD. I actually thought Booker would win the Title once he did his spinarooni and nailed him with an Axe-Kick, I would have never anticipated Eddie coming back! The new WWF Championship Belt looks pretty cool, it's a shame that Taker has a chance to wear that belt. What the fuck is Bradshaw doing battling the nWo?? This is just getting stupid, next Raw it'll probably be Kane & Bradshaw vs. X-Pac & Scott Hall.
