1st off, Brock Lesnar, what else can you say about him? He is AWESOME!

Undertaker vs RVD was a really high quality match that did everything...made Undertaker win as well as showed that RVD is on that main event type caliber. Eddy Guerrero was hilarious at the end of that match.

Mr Perfect doing the PerfectPlex to the Big Show was great as well.

Spike Dudley is kinda pointless to win the title, but hey...at least Regal lost it.

Austin vs Hall wasnt too great as usual. Pretty funny that Austin left for 2 weeks cause he was pissed fighting Hall, then comes back and fights him in his first match. At least they are pushing another mid tier wrestler, in Bradshaw.

Overall, pretty decent RAW. Im sure that Smackdown will be better though lol.

It was a pretty great Raw, why did they make 2 more pointless No. 1 Contender matches? We saw it on the way to No Way Out, and now we see it again. They should have just stopped wasting all that time and just made a match for Backlash. What a shitty cover up for the Nash injury, maybe they could have gone more realistic by doing what they did with HHH or something? Or by faking an injury? Suspending him for 7 months because his friend stole Kanes mask....

Very true Rageparty...but then if they had done it the way that you said, thered be other people complaining about how the NWO is weak and that there is no use for them. Its a no win situation. Its not too big of a deal doing that...plus it definitely opens the door for another guy becoming a member of the NWO...HHH perhaps.....

The highlight was the Taker/RVD match. Not bad at all. RVD showed he could hang with the big boys. No suprise taker winning. Same with Austin. But that match was the sloppiest. Hall is washed up. Guy can't even land a suplex or hit the ropes the right way. Lot of mess ups.

The match of the night had to be Taker/RVD, those two put everything they got into that match.

Brock Lesnar, the guy takes two chair shots in the head and he's still standing, Flair made a great choice of picking him.

Spike Dudley winning the title had to be the Quickest title change in the history of Raw.

Mr Perfect geting the Big Show in the PerfectPlex was a sight to see,the power of the Big Show he only had him in it for a one count.

Overall Raw was very good, lets see if smackdown can be just as good

It was pretty good. I'm sick of being hyped by Brock Lesnar, i wanna see him in the fucking ring. He's gigantic, fucking powerful (i'm still shocked when i see him manhandle Rikishi) put him in a match! Oh BTW see those unguarded chair shots he took to the head? What a fucking trooper! They looked hard as shit. RVD vs UT was good, and the mandatory womens match was above average, anyway, was there ONE clean win on RAW tonight? How many fucking runins and ref bumps do they have to use?! Jesus fucking christ.

i thought raw was decent...and could be on the right track.

ummm, no...he got suspended because he put his hands on flair. he said that in the ring, anyone touches him, they will pay for it or regret it...

i think that austin and hall was sloppy as hell, but don't put all the blame on hall. austin was just as sloppy, couldn't even hit the thez press. (of course people will say that it was hall being out of position casue austin can do no wrong)... better than pre wrestlemania, definately something to work with...

TeenWeek, you mispelled God and put an extra l, b, e, r and g on it. Otherwise, your statement is correct. You gotta get spell check or something.

Very good Raw, and yes, I do want to second that, in context, the Nash suspension makes sense. Flair said in the opening interview, anyone even remotely TOUCHES him anymore after what happened last week and they will pay. Sadly, JR and the King did a terrible job getting that across (as usual) to the audience. It is a pretty big storyline in that a main guy's absence is being explained, you think the two idiots could try to explain that storyline more instead of overdoing the Bubba Ray Dudley hype with retarded lines like "he's overly caucasian?" GOD, JR SUCKS SO MUCH NOW IT'S SAD TO THINK HE USED TO RULE THE WORLD! And, King. Well, King is funny, but if you want to get a major storyline across, he ain't your guy. If the old JR was there, he'd be good, but if JR ain't gonna explain things right for the two of them, then the King becomes a liability.

I mean, they do "Moments Ago" for things that happened three minutes ago in case someone missed it, you think the announcers would then try to explain something that happened in the opening, or do they think WWF fans have short term memory loss and long term memory as sharp as can be?

And, of course, they also neglected then to sell the importance of the Stunner to Flair. Austin now is going to get punished for that. I mean, Nash touched him and got suspended, Austin knocked him out. Is Austin going to lose his spot in the #1 contender spot? Will HE be suspended? JR should have asked these questions as the show went off the air to build interest in next week's Raw. Instead, all he did was say "STONE COLD! STONE COLD!" 10 billion times and likely throw in a subliminal message to Big Show to lose weight.

You know, if I watched Raw with the mute button, I probably would have liked it BETTER! But, great Raw, and they are doing things RIGHT with Brock Lesner, dammit. And also, I think they should rename Mr. Perfect to something more true to his crrent character like Mr. Enhancement Talent.
That's a nice way of saying jobber, kids.

Yes, but at least he can do that. There are so many people who should take a lesson from him (ie Undertaker, X-Pac).

I want to see Lesnar actually wrestle too. This is getting a little dragged out with him. Did like the whole X stealing Kane's mask. Listening to him deliver that "Freaks are cool" speech was brutal through the mask. Lose it, give him some "burned flesh" make up, and see them take it from there.

not sure why i forgot it earlier, but hello! just reminded me. does bradshaw attacking undertaker because undertaker came out and beat up austin cause he was in a match with the nwo, mean that bradshaw felt that taker was helping nwo instead of hurting austin? (what the fuck did i just say?) what i mean is, taker comes out and fucks with austin while in a match with hall (and xpac) so it is a 3 on 1...nash just got suspended...bradshaw comes out to help a fellow texan (i think that is what jr screamed) and attacked taker (another texan by the way)...so we have austin and bradshaw vs. nwo plus taker...good way to keep a big man in the nwo, even if it isn't as a "member" just associated with them due to mutual hatred of flair and austin...

or am i overanalyzing this way to much...

I do think that with KN bieng out that they will have to add a couple more members, as X-crap, and SH are just not that much of a preseance to be delt with.

Here's what I am guessing with the whole number one contendors matches....As far as I heard the WWF was unsure which person should have the next title shot, it had been narrowed down to UT and Hogan.....My guess is they wanted to see which match-up got a bigger reaction from the crowd, and now that Hogan got the better response, they had to scramble to get a Raw together without Triple H.

I could be totally off of course

I'd say it was a decent RAW. Better than last week at any rate. The roster is still utterly horrible (sans a handful of hard workers), but the booking for last night's show was slightly better, and a couple of the matches were long.

The two "#1 contender" matches were pretty pointless, since we all knew it would be Undertaker vs. Austin at the PPV anyway. But whatever, they did it to pad RAW with a couple "name" matches.

I was upset to see Booker T having to fight for the Hardcore title (that is SO beneath him; he should be main eventing RAW, not curtain jerking), but at least they didn't job him to Bubba. Finally, they found a good use for Dustin!

I was torn on X-Pac / Kane. On the one hand, I thought it ended awfully quickly for a FCA match. Then I remembered it was X-Pac vs. Kane, and I didn't mind so much.

It's depressing when goddamn Bradshaw is being given a midcard push, and Booker T is fighting for the goddamn Hardcore title, which is the title with the LEAST meaning / worth at this point (even the Women's title is better). But hey, at least Nash will be off TV for the time being.

Spike Dudley is kinda pointless to win the title, but hey...at least Regal lost it.

I would have liked Regal to keep the title. I was kind of hoping they'd have him do some actual wrestling on one of the shows. But at least Spike's win allowed Tommy Dreamer to be on RAW TV again.

RVD / Undertaker was a pretty decent match. Certainly watchable; Heyman probably booked it. I hate all of this "RVD is proving he's a main eventer" crap, though. If anything, last night RVD worked DOWN to Undertaker's level. At least it wasn't a squash, and I'm looking forward to the Eddy / RVD feud.

I take back any bad thing I said about Molly - fat ass or not, she looked damn good with the new look. Plus it was a pretty decent women's match.

Heyman & Lesnar are my new favorite duo. It was good to see Heyman work-shoot on all of the good ideas that Vince "borrowed" *coughstolecough* from him. Lesnar instantly becomes my hero by no-selling chairshots and beating the shit out of the Hardys. The rumor is that he'll fight them at Backlash in a handicap match. I'm gonna hold off on calling him a god until I see him destroy both of them AND Lita.

Perfect & Big Show was a time filler squash, but it was good to see Perfect hit the Plex on Big Slow.

Austin / Hall was pretty bad, but I expected it to be. I kind of think they're going back to the well once too often by having Austin be the "anti-hero fighting with his boss", since it's all been done to death ad nauseum. I'm not into an Austin / Flair feud, UNLESS they go all shoot on us and Austin starts talking about how Flair held him down in WCW (but that won't happen, since it's standard policy to ignore everything that happened before the wrestler came to the WWF).

Something that bothered me about Raw last night (well, one of the many things...), was Heyman's promo. See, I'm of the belief that a manager's purpose should be to get his wrestler over. Think back to the days of Bobby Heenan and Jimmy Hart, they spent minimal time talking about themselves, and the majority putting over whomever they were managing at the time.

Heyman, on the other hand, walks out to the ring with this giant monster, and spends five minutes talking about nothing but himself, before showing the video footage of stuff we've already seen anyway. This helps Lesnar how?

I think Lesnar can get over just fine on his own, he has the same aura Goldberg had when he first started out. But Paul being Paul, having had his backstage power limited in recent months, knows an opportunity when he sees one. Once Lesnar gets over (which he is already, but you know), who do you think is going to be the one to take the credit? Who is going to be the one to get back some of that lost stroke?

Not saying it's a good thing or a bad thing, just an observation. But Heyman sure does love talking about himself.

BTW, I wonder if Lesnar has one of those prescriptions that HHH was talking about...
