Although the WWF's shows suck now, I dont see the WWF going out of business. Dont know why, I just dont see it happening though.

Someone else in this forum mentioned how he would like to see Booker T become a face champion. Even though that probably won't happen for a while, if it does happen at all, the WWE has the perfect chance to push Booker T as a face.

Raw opens. Flair, Big Show, X-Pac, Booker, and maybe Nash, come down to the ring. Flair states that they are looking to recruit new members into the NWO. With that, he calls out Brock Lesnar and Heyman. After some in-ring BS (“We are always looking for bigger and better, and what can be bigger and better than the Next Big Thing”), Brock Lesnar becomes the newest member of the NWO. Hey, its better than fighting the Hardy Boys and Stasiak all the time. At least it gives him some recognition, and a Lesnar/Show tag team would be pretty sick. Flair then talks about Judgement Day and what happened in the handicap match. He states that himself and Show were in the match. X-Pac came out and tried to help the team. Nash was injured. Lesnar wasn’t even a member at that time. He then turns to Booker and asks, "What's your excuse," since Booker went to the hotel right before the match started. Why wasn’t Booker there for the team when they needed him? Why did he go to a hotel instead of helping the organization? An in-ring beat down of Booker T occurs.

Later on in the show, X-Pac is in a match. Booker comes out wearing an NWO shirt, standing by the ring and cheering X-Pac on. Ref gets knocked out and Booker runs in with a chair, appearing to try and help X-Pac. He then turns and drills X-Pac in the back, hits him with the Scissors Kick, pulls his opponent over him, and wakes up the ref to count the 3. Booker is now an instant face.

**NOTE – the NWO member MUST be X-Pac, since he is the most hated man in the WWF. I think if Osama Bin-Laden came out and hit X-Pac, he would be cheered.

Just a side note - did anyone think that the bump that referee Tim White took in the Hell in a Cell match look kinda real? I've seen tons of ref bumps, but that one looked very real, and the WWE confirmed that White was injured:
quote:

When Chris Jericho threw referee Tim White into the cell, White didn’t have enough time to get his back turned all the way around. His right shoulder – which had been surgically repaired – took the brunt of the impact. He dislocated it. After the match, trainers tried to pop the shoulder back into place, but scar tissue from the surgery apparently made it difficult for them, and White was taken to a nearby medical facility.

White was also bleeding and may have had a black eye as he left the Gaylord Entertainment Center. WWE.com hopes to have an update on White in the next few days.

Well, guess not wasting 3 hours of my life on this ppv was a great idea.
HHH going over Jericho. Austin no selling everyone (from what i hear) and forcing yet another illogical win setting up nothing. The only thing i didnt see coming is that Rikishi and Rico are now the tag champions, only because that concept is so clearly assinign, I really have to remind myself to stop using logic when watching the wwE.
quote:

I'm sure some WWF loyalist will find a way to blame WCW for this

The only concievable way of blaming WCW or even ECW is the fact that thier no longer around to compete with Vince. Thus there is no one forcing the wwE to come up with new concepts and ideas. What the WWE needs is competion, some organization to spring up with a fresh storylines and most of all IN RING ACTION. Thus forcing Vince to make changes as needed.

I didn't think it was that bad.
RVD vs Eddy - great opener, can't ask for more in an opener. 2 1/2 *
Trish vs Staci - pee break
Brock vs Hardyz - god i hope they are both dead *
Austin vs Flair/Big Slow ASS MOTHER FUCKER - No way could Slow be in this match if there was to be any story told...could have been MUCH WORSE! 1 1/2 *
Edge vs Angle - Second best match of the night, keeps the hot feud going 3 1/4*
HHH vs Y2J - Match of the night 4*
Rico/Rikishi vs Billy and Chucky - Can go someplace with this angle if they let it happen, Rico can work well, and I picture Candido/Storm when they hated one another and had the belts in ECW 2*
Taker vs Hogan - THANK THE FUCKING LORD HOGAN LOST THE TITLE, that alone makes it a 2* match

I wouldn't but it for $35 but maybe $20...

...And now the battle between us and them has begun.

Let me get this right, you have 4 out of 8 matches that were pretty good. Hogan losing the belt, which is a god-send. Bubba getting put through a table by D-von which is going to start something, no doubt about it and the ppv totally sucked????? My opinion is you people are too fucking critical. The only thing on the ppv I would have changed is to have Benoit come out as Rikishi's partner and just fucking decimate him.

Other things...Hogan going to RAW to help Austin fight the NWO. THANK GOD!!!!!! Having Bradshaw as your #2 face on RAW doesn't work for me. Never did. He's mid-card at best in my opinion. Hogan can only help raw, he can't possibly hurt them any more than they are already. Unless we have to watch more Hogan/Flair matches, then that would be bad.

Did anyone else get the feeling UT was waiting for something to happen after the match that didnt? Like a run-in to save Hogan or something. Or was it just me?

Maven/Tori...NOOOOOOOOOOOO, please don't do that to her. Just stick her with kidman already.

I'm only laughing on the outside
My smile is just skin deep
If you could see inside I'm really crying
You might join me for a weep.
