My friends and I, while watching that awful excuse for wrestling called judgement day, were reminising about wrestling from the 70's, 80's and early 90's.

We are trying to remember the name of a wrestler, maybe some one can help...

he had "surgery" on his hip, allegedly, that bits of the operation was shown on the show. Only later to have local news report that the clip shown, was in fact, a pig being disected...

he wlked with a cane near the end of his wwf career. Bald we think... two toned beard, like hogans now... some of think that he may have been part of the first king of the ring... ,aybe be wore blue ty-died tights...

any ideas?

The Man Supertar Billy Graham

For his time Graham had it all." I am the man of the hour, the one with the power, too sweet to be sour..." So went one of Billy Graham's favorite interview quotes. A revolutionary champion who was way ahead of his time, this hated villain was one of the most colorful personalities (and later, one its most tragic stories) in the history of wrestling. He was also one of the biggest box-office attractions ever, and a true legend who has been imitated and copied often through the years.

Here's the cover from the Beans collection of one of my mags from 1978 showing a slimmed down Rhodes and Graham
