Yeah FollowthisLogic is right. Nash only has about ten months left on his contract. Nash was quoted as saying he would sit home. The quote said something like "I will get $2 million whether I wrestle or sit at home, so why would I wrestle". (not the exact quote) If he took the buy-out from AOL/Turner he would only get something like 60 cents on the dollar and then would have to sign a new deal with WWFE and Vince already said nobody is getting a deal over a million.
As far as NOVA, I don't believe he is in Japan. He wasn't last week. He was in Albany for RAW, or at least he was at the production meeting and was scheduled for a dark match but missed it for some reason. He did have a dark match before the Heat taping on Tuesday though. I am not sure if he signed with the WWF, but I believe he has. He has been performing a lot of Hardy Boyz moves at house shows and in his dark match. I have a feeling he might be the Hardy's third member in TLC2. (Go Bricktown!)
As far as RVD, yes he is wrestling in an Indy, but not a normal Indy. He is wrestling in UPW, which is a WWF developmental territory. The same territory where Kurt Angle was trained. Vince is very anti-drug (of all kinds) since the steriod trial and his strict rules might be what is keeping RVD from signing. That is just my opinion, no basis or fact on that. Would be great to see him in the WWF or even in the "new WCW" but for now he is wrestling for UPW and also in Japan with his friend Sabu.
As far as Tommy Dreamer, I think signing him would be like signing one of the old guys from WCW anyway. He has destroyed his body being the symbol of ECW. I think he is a great performer, but his back is a mess. I have heard that he did sign a deal to work backstage for the WWF and even was hinted to make an on camera appearance. We will have to wait and see.
Good call Francine Banger. As far as Dawn Marie, I would expect to see her in the new WCW before the WWF for one reason - she is married. Married to Simon Diamond, who I think is a good performer and deserves to get signed, but is small and would fit better with the cruiserweights in WCW. As for Francine, she was die hard ECW but now that Paul Heyman has closed shop and is on WWF t.v. I don't see why she wouldn't join if Vince wanted her. It was even rumored for some time that she was gonna end up being Raven's ninja. It would be good to see her in the WWF.

I had heard that NOVA and Chetti wrestled a dark match before the Heat tapings last week. As for Van Damn, yes UPW is where he is. Heard that he is doing well, and enjoyed his matches in Japan with Sabu. Dreamer has been rumored to go to the WWF and help in the back, not as an active competitor. And who wouldn't love to see Dawn Marie and Francine?? They would be great acquisitions for either the WWF or the new WCW!

Previously adopted by Joey Big Arms.
