| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | According to 1Wrestling.com, a McMahon is reported to be on Nitro tonight, most likely being Shane. Also, Hardy Boyz, Edge and Christian, Bruce Pritchard, and Gerald brisco are all supposed to be on Nitro. They could use this is an angle. Saying Shane has been scheming behind Vince's back. He bought WCW with all of his money and is going to make it the number one wrestling organization today and dethrone the WWF. This would than make the match between them at Wretlemania that much better. Also have a run in from a big name who they have signed already, Booker T bewing the most obvious choice, since Scott Steiner, Goldberg, and Nash will not redo their contracts yet. This would than be teh start of the interpromotional wars. What does everyone think? Any comments or other ideas how this will play out? Teens, making the world a better place to live in. | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Feb. 01 | although that would be hot if the the wwf wcw angle would start know it would overshadow wrestlemania which is what the wwf is building up and been doing since the royal rumble my best guess is that it'll prob happen after wrestlmania although shane being there would be kool seeing the hardy's wouldnt cuz they have bizness with e/c and the dudley boyz  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | yep, just like the old wcw, start something and then put it on hold for a long while cause you have no tv slot to show your show on!! they can't start the angle for 2 reasons...1) wrestlmania is like 6 days away, and 2) no tv time slot for wcw shows...why do something and then shelve it for a few weeks til you can find a tv spot?? | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | I just found this on 1wrestling.com... WCW has cleared an extra hour of satellite time for tonight's broadcast of Nitro. What that means is that after Nitro goes off the air at 10 p.m., they will be able to do cut outs from Panama City and uplink footage to Raw in Cleveland. I expect their to be interaction between the two shows tonight and by allowing extra satellite time, that appears to be the case. Previously adopted by Joey Big Arms. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Here is the whole thing. Bischoff not to show up. Vince to address it and shows to link up I guess after 10. Also Raw Main event. Thanks to Dave Scherer and 1Wrestling for the following Sources are reporting that Eric Bischoff won’t be attending Nitro tonight in Panama City. Bischoff was expected to attend Nitro before the sale to the World Wrestling Federation, but obviously since the recent turn of events Bischoff won’t be there. By Bischoff not attending is a sure sign that he won’t be working with the newly acquired WCW in the future. Sources are saying that he still will be starting his own wrestling promotion. Federation chairman Vince McMahon phoned WWF.com this morning to announce that he has ordered a huge tag-team match for tonight's RAW -- Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock join forces to battle the brotherly duo of the Undertaker and Kane! Also tonight, Mr. McMahon will address the Federation's acquisition of its former adversary, WCW. WCW has cleared an extra hour of satellite time for Nitro tonight so that when Nitro goes off the air at 10:00pm they will be able to show live footage from Panama City on the RAW broadcast tonight in Cleveland. Interaction between two shows tonight is expected based on the extra satellite time cleared. WCW's usual 11 a.m. production meeting has been moved back until 2 p.m. The reason for that is WWF representatives will be meeting with the WCW creative team at noon (EST) and will discuss what will be done on Nitro tonight. It is Obvious; the WWF will have a lot of say in tonight's Nitro. Teens, making the world a better place to live in. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | I can't picture too many, if any WCW guys being on RAW, after all they have to finish setting the table for Wrestlemania..I do like the idea of WWF guys showing up on Nitro, I say expect shit to go on in the first hour of Nitro and the second hour of RAW so Vinnie Mac is not competing with himself..Whether you agree with the sale or not, this is probably the biggest story to hit wrestling in years, if not ever..Tonight should be interesting. Outside shot of Jim McMahon showing up with former teammate Mongo. Of course Mongo was an orignal Nitro Broadcaster from the very first Nitro, so he would like to come back for the very last Nitro.  | ||||

I guarantee both shows should see a big increase in rating tonight for what has to be the biggest story in wrestling history. From wrestlingunleashed.com: Sources are reporting that Shane McMahon will in fact be at Nitro tonight in Panama City, Florida. His presence will no doubt be a part of a cross-promotional angle involving the WWF and WCW. It should be interesting to hear what he has to say regarding the WWF's purchase of the struggling promotion. Since Shane will be appearing at Nitro and Vince has already confirmed his appearance on Raw, it seems extremely unlikely that there will be a surprise Vince McMahon appearance on Nitro. However, it is much more likely that Shane and Vince will each do their part in beginning an angle or feud tonight that will spur future cross-promotions and will help tie the companies together down the road. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | i can't believe i am going to say this, but for once i will be watching nitro on monday!! i normally tape the late edition and watch it on tuesday...tonight however, i will be taping raw in the other room while the tape will be rolling on the last tnt nitro... | Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | I usually watch RAW live and then the replay of NITRO but tonight I will actually watch NITRO at 8. I have two t.v.'s in the living room but haven't had both shows on at the same time since '99. Tonights shows should be great, but I hope they don't ruin any of the storylines for Wrestlemania. This purchase is big but it can't overshadow Wrestlemania. As far as tabling a show for a couple weeks, I have heard that Vince has already secured a spot for his WCW on TNN. I have heard a few different times. Friday nights from 11 to 1, Saturday nights 11 to 1, Saturday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. or placed where Livewire or Superstars is now. I am sure whatever Vince has secured it will be annouced tonight. I think that is the only reason Vince is not waiting until after Wrestlemania. He needs to announce where to find WCW to the three of us who still watch WCW regularly. The only person I seeing showing up at WCW tonight from the WWF will be Shane. Why would Vince help Turner get better ratings. Although it would a nice way to tell Ted to kiss off, by giving his rasslin' show the highest ratings in years on it's last show. The only thing that sucks is that if Shane does appear on both shows he won't be the first person to appear on both RAW and NITRO on the same night, although he would be the first to appear live on both. Anybody know the onther person to appear on both RAW and NITRO on the same night? | ||||

If during the McMahon match during Wrestlemania, someone like Goldberg or Steiner or Booker T comes out and runs some interference causing Vince to lose. Now that would create a big opening for a WCW invasion. Sometimes I wish I could be just like everyone else, then I realize how much they all suck. | ||||
