These both are turning out to be great shows, especially with the hinting of Stephanie at Nitro and Vince with all the appeareances on NItro.

This is one of the best nights of wrestling I've seen in a while - plus Vince knocking the WCW stars every chance he hets (loves the Jeff Jarrett speech), this is awesome TV.

It will make a great story line of the wcw vs wwf --- who will cross over who will stay with the team they are on? Vince is the smartest man alive -- will get atleast a year and 1/2 out of this story

This Shane/WCW vs. Vince/WWF angle should be HUGE for a while. Only problem w/ it is, once its starts to go stale, is it even possible to top that?

No doubt. Wrestling was getting stale, this will definitely liven things up a bit!!!! I wonder if WCW will take on some of the ECW talent.

Good end to Wrestlemania? Shane gets his ass kicked by Vince then Austin beats Rock. While Austin is in the ring drinking beers and celebrating, Goldberg runs in and spears him. That would start the interpromotional angle off right.

Anybody else see that Shane angle coming? Granted, I didn't get it until 1/2 way through Vince's speech. Can't wait to see what happens from here!

It was nice to flip back and forth between the two shows. I flashed back, those days were great.

Barry: You had to figure they would have to use this to the best of their advantage and have the best way to mix these two promotions. It would have either been this or have WCW invade wrestlemania.

Is anyone else upset the Goldberg wasn't on Nitro tonight?? I realize that he is "retired" but that was an old storyline, and this was a special night for the promotion...I just wish he would get his lazy overpaid ass into the arena and make an appearance as a way of saying thanks to the fans of wcw who made him all that cash!

I hope to see him as a major player in one of these feds, he was the best draw that wcw had, and my favorite big guy from wcw.

How can you be mad at Goldberg? Listen I am not a big mark for Goldberg but don't understand how you could be mad at him for not being at Nitro. First of all he is still rehabbing an injury. I can't remember but I think he had surgery on an arm or something. Besides that didn't you notice that for the most part only the wrestlers that McMahon purchased contracts for wrestled on Nitro? Except for Steiner, who jobbed the belt and needed to wreslte, and Flair and Sting, who had a nice tribute match all the other wrestlers were already under 90 day deals with WFFE. I am not sure if Goldberg is gonna take the buyout option from AOL/Time Warner or if he is gonna sit out the length of his contract but why would he have shown up. What did WCW do for him? Yes they made him a star, but in the last two years they have done everything they could to ruin him at the same time. He has no obligation to Vince and in fact never wanted to be a wrestler to begin with. I believe Golgberg will go home collect his guaranteed money and do something else. Then again I could be wrong.

Shane is going to destroy his father , Vince!!! Stone Cold will cream the Crock and get the belt... The Goldberg idea sounds pretty intriguing!
