| O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00  | With Rock out of the picture for a couple months, who do you think will be the WWF's top babyface? Right now, there is no viable contender for the world title as a babyface. Angle, Austin, HHH, and Jericho are all heels. Taker is a major baby, but is currently not in the world title storyline. Benoit is a face, but not a big enough one or strong enough character to be the top babyface. And they won't bring in a new guy to take that top spot right out of the gate. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | I'll believe the rumors of wrestlers being out for months when I actually see it. It seems like when the Internet reports certain wrestlers are taking time off for other projects or for vacation they wind up only being out 1 or 2 shows. That said, the Rock will remain the top face until he actually takes all this time off to make this movie. After that it's either gonna be the Undertaker stepping into the top face role or the Austin-HHH feud will start up again with one of them turning good.   "What are you speaking? German Brian? Allow me to, however, break down the candidates for top face: FACES: Team Xtreme 2 Cool (GMS and Blackman) Billy Gunn K-Kwik Al Snow Chyna The Hollys The APA Shane McMahon Test TWEENERS, LEANING TOWARDS FACE Benoit Y2J Undertaker Kane Tazz The Dudleyz Trish Stratus Seeing as how none of the "true" faces are main eventers, I would have to go with either Benoit or Jericho. Who knows, they might actually team up. I also think that HHH will stay heel, lest he "divorce" Steph. He and Austin could challenge Edge and Christian at some point, because, as E&C have said, Double Gold rules! | Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | I really hope they elevate Jericho. He deserves it. ANYONE who at one time had to job to Chyna deserves AT LEAST a 10 year run with the title. AT LEAST. But I have a feeling that they never will. It seems like Jericho will be a career mid-carder, as much as it pains me. I bet its Austin/Taker until the Rock comes back. oh boy. haven't seen that before...... Indeed. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Feb. 01 | I think Test is far fetched, but possible, look what they did with Rikishi, he was a dancing idiot, and he became a major player for a while. I mean even the Big Show won the title last year. Benoit is a good candidate, and speaking of Benoit did anyone hear on Raw I think how Paul E. said that he was a former undefeated WCW heavyweight champion??? He was, but for 1 day before he jumped over. Thats pretty funny that that fact was even brought up, but it might mean something. I still think they might turn HHH, he is a fan favorite, so who knows. Vinnie Mac will do whatever he wants, and if someone pisses him off, he will make them pay and they can get lost in the shuffle.  | ||||

Because the WWF is low on top Faces, they will string us along with Austin being a heel and then he'll turn. There is no way to get Austin compleatly over as a heel. I feel bad for HHH being he has to get the IC belt after being one of the best champs of all time. Good for him to let Austin bask in the spot light though. Also, I bet Jericho will become a top level guy. He has paid his dues and is SOOOOOO over with the fans. | ||||

Test may become a major babyface because I think he's still screwing Stephanie...the boss's daughter has a pretty big say in what's going on...
