Hope all is well and let's get to some wrestling takes for this week! Coming off last night's show, I am baffled how the WWF is burying the Hardys after they were getting a nice push there for a while. It makes no sense to have them come out last night in the main event and get squashed. Why even put them over in the first place if they are just going to end up being jobbers to the big guys like Austin and HHH. Speaking of Austin, I know I have said this in the past, but this angle with him sucks the sweat off a donkey's testicles. For years we have heard the phrase "DTA" out of Austin. Whether he was a heel or a baby face, that was his gimmick and it worked. Now he is aligned with HHH and Vince McMahon. That is so stupid. It takes away from what people liked about Austin in the first place. So WWF officials who read this (and I know you do), do something creative with Austin for the love of god. I am not saying make him a baby face again, but either way, keep him as the loner character - that is what makes him so special. Dammit, I just hate seeing him cut promos with HHH in the ring right next to him, it just isn't the same! All right, now that I have vented there. Let's talk about something I do like - and that is the gimmick we have going with the Undertaker and Kane. Undertaker is getting pretty damn funny in his old age and new gimmick. I like the way they are portraying these two. His opening segment with Kane was priceless. While I hate the Austin gimmick, I love the match they have booked at Backlash this Sunday with all the titles on the line. Should be worth watching! <><><><> I also look for the Benoit vs. Angle 30 minute submission match to be something special as well. I like watching these two get in the ring and wrestle. If you are an old school fan of actual wrestling, you will enjoy this one. Now, what the hell are they doing with the Big Show? Big Show against Shane McMahon? That is stupid. The guy is huge, has some charisma, and if used right, could be a big player in the WWF. I wonder how much Vince was actually shooting in his Smackdown interview when he called Show, "the biggest disappointment in WWF history." Having him go up against Shane at Backlash is almost as stupid as Kaientai come out in Elway's jersey last night to get over with the crowd and then get the victory over RTC. Which by the way is like watching an animal slowly die - it is just painful to watch. Please, for the love of all creatures big and small, end the damn RTC gimmick! Their time has past and it is time to let those guys go off and do their own thing. Oh, and quick memo to the WWF, stop playing XFL promos during Raw. Give it up. No one gives a rat's ass about the XFL. And while I enjoy watching Raw, I will say that TNN has to be the worst channel of all-time. Have you seen the gay commercials they run? "We've got pop?" Who is the advertising executive who came up with the great idea to promote the channel by playing answering machine messages from trailer park rednecks who can't get enough of Miami Vice? Sorry guys, it is late and I am venting here, forgive me! On a good note, I am happy to see Albert get a nice body wax going and shave that ridiculous body hair he had going on. You know other wrestlers had something to say about that, "dude, shave your back or I am not getting in the ring with you." Nice work, Albert. In protest, I am not going to post an email of the week because quite frankly, they sucked. Stop emailing me and giving me the wrestlers' real names in order to impress me. "Steve (Williams) Austin, Edge (Adam Copeland), etc." That is stupid and I am not impressed. Also, stop trying to bomb on me in hopes that I will post your email. FYI - if you write me and curse me out, there is a 100% chance you will not see your email in this newsletter  Make you satanistic Make you take the pistol to your face And place the clip and cock it back And let it go untill your brains are rippin' out your skull so bad And sew you back and be a waste of stitches | ||||
