| Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01  | my mum came home from work today and offically ruined my life (well not my entire life, just the part where i watch wrestling). over here in england we get 5 tv channels free and have to pay for the others (it's pretty much the same in the US right?). anyway, the only wwf programme show on the free channels is HEAT and all the rest are on Sky Sports 1 which you have to pay for. so my mum came home from work today and said we spent too much time watching tv and she was going to cancel our cable, leaving us with just channels 1-5. this now means: NO MORE RAW NO MORE SMACKDOWN NO MORE SUPERSTARS NO MORE PPVS (except in england we dont have to pay and they show some of them on channel 4 for free) i have now been forced to become an internet fan for the next 6 years of my life (i'm 14 right now so basically i can't cable till after uni and i get my own house) has this ever happened to anyone else? how much does this suck???? now i'm going to have to do something else like, *oh dear god* HOMEWORK! mums can fuck themselves. I missed out on two, yes two valiable years of wrestling thanks to my cheap ass parents..... but I did what I could and got a job. Not only do I have sweet cable (we dont get Heat though) I can order even the england ppv's which is totaly sweet. Sorry to hear aboot this great ordeal that has occured. | Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | hey you did sound like clinton! i just checked out wwf.com and they have reports/pictures and videos so it can't be too bad right? and i found a friend to record the ppvs for me, and i can still watch HEAT. backlash is on channel 4 this sunday so i'm going to be able to still watch that (for free!). i tried to get a job the other day and the people said i was too young! i have to wait another 2 years, and even then i won't be able to afford cable (i dont know how much it is, but it is more than in america) i am very annoyed. | Psychopath Registered: Apr. 01 | i guess i could get a paper round (that doesnt count as a real job so you only have to be 14) but i would only be able to do saturday mornings coz i have to get a bus to school at 7.30 am in the week and that would only give me about £10 (i think thats about $16). i'll stop complaining about my lack of money/wrestling now. lets talk about backlash...... | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | www.wrestleline.com is probably going to become your best friend. Usually CRZ's Recaps are the best you'll find anywhere. Not only do you get the results, but he transcribes entire in-ring promos/interviews. He also gives you the idea of the backstage vignettes (sometimes transcribes those too). Not as good as the real thing, of course, but you'll at least know more than what you get from the average recap.  Me droogies: Two positions currently available. | ||||
