| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Alright, I'm from now on, I'm going to go into alot more detail in my ratings threads, rating each segment seperately Angle-Benoit promo Very good promo with lots of intenisty. Benoits mic skills are much improved, and Angle took a sick bump on that suplex over the rope. B Matt Hardy(c) v Edge EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH Good opening bout. Hardy and Edge work well together--lots of fluidity. B+ Regal-Coachman-Trish segment Sucked. No other way to put it. Terrible acting on all parts. D X-Pac v Spike Dudley Even Spike's great effort couldn't salvage this match. You know its bad when someone goes for a sleeper within the first minute of the match. D Michael Cole interview of Steph Better then most of Steph's segments. For once, she was somewhat convincing. Of course, I was paying more attention to her nips then to what she was saying:) C+ Edge & Christian-Angle segment Damn good segment. Great acting by everyone, and very entertaining.A APA-Crash segment 1 Pretty decent, but nothing special B- Test-Steph segment Terrible. Just terrible. Watching and listening to this terrible acting made me wish i was deaf and blind. But, Steph is hot. F+ APA-Crash-Hardcore Holly segment Decent. I though Hardcore was going to kill it when he showed up, but throwing the beer in Bradshaw's face was a nice touch. B- Rhyno(c) v Jericho HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP Very good match up until the interference by Edge and Christian. Rhyno and Jericho were both great in this, and there were lots of good hits. The beating Y2J gave to Regal was great. B ***END OF 1ST HOUR*** 1st hour ratings wrestling--B- promos-----D+ overall----C-  A friend with weed is a friend indeed. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | HOUR 2 Vince-Steph-Linda promo Vince was great, as per his usual. And the crowd pop when the footage of Kane kicking Steph in the face was shown was the hugest pop I've ever heard. And of course, Vince's line after that... quote:was the highlight of the night, and solidified his place among the elite cartoon supervillians :) Unfortunately, Steph's and Linda's horrendous mic and acting skills roooned a perfectly good promo :( C- Vince-Stone Cold segment Entirely pointless. This is one of the many things wrong with the WWF--the discussion on what to do about SCSA's match that night ruined any chance of suprise when the match took place. D Hollys v APA The worst match of the night. I caught myself dozing off. Crash was pretty funny as a drunk, but it didn't really help the match at all. D Vince-HHH segment Another of those useless segments that roooon the show. This was even worse then the one with Vince and SCSA F+ Lilian Garcia interview of Undertaker Most interviews suck, but this one was truly impressive. Despite all the years where Taker barely talked, he probably has better mic skills then almost anyone in the WWF. A Test v HHH Short, sweet and to the point. And of course, a power-bomb through the announce table just doesn't get old. Kane showing up at the end of the match was a good addition. B+ Vince-HHH segment 2 HHH did a good job in this. He made up for Vince's usual overacting in backstage promos. B- Mummy 2/Rock movie promo ::YAWN:: Why do they subject us to this? F Trish v Chyna(c) WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP The match was pretty boring. Chyna is always impressive, but do we really need to see such one-sided matches? The after-match promo really saved this. We're beginning to see Chyna getting put over as a heel, and seeing Lita emerge into the title hunt. B- Austin(c) v Undertaker WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE I'm as sick of all the interference as everyone else, but damn, this was pretty great. Not much of a match, but the beating SCSA and HHH gave to Kane and Taker kicked ass. You've just gotta love the way production switches angles at the exact moment of impact between the steel chair and Kane's arm so that we never really see contact. A- (yeah, I know I'll catch hell for that rating) ***End of 2nd hour*** 2nd hour ratings wrestling--B promos-----C overall----B- B A friend with weed is a friend indeed. | Hanger-On Registered: Apr. 01 | Those ratings seem pretty much on the money for the most part..I actually dozed off a bit before the main event started but woke up in time to see a nice beat down. Overall the show seemed like business as usual for the wwf, no surprises and nothing really new. My left leg is known as New Years, and my right leg is known as Christmas..so ladies, why don't you come visit me between the holidays! | ||||
