Triple Threat Hardcore Title Match: Rhyno (c) vs. Test vs. The Big Show.
Winner: Rhyno. Test and Big Show are going to be too involved with each other, and if he can't get a pin, Rhyno might take a page from Raven and escape with the title.

William Regal vs. Rikishi.
Winner: Rikishi. And with a Stinkface.

Women's Title Match: Chyna (c) vs. Lita.
Winner: Lita. This upset, along w/ the XTreme/Guerrero alliance, can send the Ninth Wonder into a much-needed heel turn.

2/3 Falls match for Kurt Angle's Gold Medals: Chris Benoit (c) vs. Kurt Angle
Winners:
1st Fall (pinfall): Angle
2nd Fall (submission): Benoit
3rd Fall (ladder): Angle (just barely).
C'mon people. This is the fourth Pay-per-view in two months that these two have clashed. Yeah, we're in the middle of a good angle, but let's give the crybaby his medals back and move along.

Tag Team Turmoil: Edge & Christian vs. APA vs. X-Factor vs. The Dudley Boyz vs. The Hardy Boyz vs. the Radicalz vs. Jericho & Mystery Partner.
Winner: APA. Bradshaw's been on a roll lately, and these two have worked long and hard to get from curtain-jerkers to lower-mid-carders. As much as I'd love Jericho and his mystery man to make it, I like seeing Y2J and BEnoit working together. Besides. #1 contender matches are crap anyway.

Intercontinental Championship Chain Match: Triple H (c) vs. Kane.
Winner: Kane. The Powertrip have messed with the Brothers' family enough to warrent a major beating. Besides, Kane has to win, because...

WWF World Heavyweight Championship: Steve Austin (c) vs. The Undertaker.
Winner: Austin. It's still too soon for Austin to drop his title, plus there's that rumor of and Austin vs. Foley title match at KOTR (although highly unlikely, but it'd make a boring PPV that much more exciting).

Well I was Right on the Money with my Backlash Predictions! I predicted that I would be bored and I was right on the money.

For Judgment Day, My Prediction is that it will suck and be even more boring that Backlash was. Lets see how that prediction pans out.

I also predict that from 9-10 I will be watching the Sopranos.

I highly doubt that the APA will win. True Bradshaw has been getting a little push, but I still doubt they will win.

And i predict that the Sopranos will be a big let down as evidenced by the previous built up episodes going to hell.

It could be as big a let down as you want, it will still be better than Rikishi vs. Regal.

Let me turn this into the results discussion....
I didn't watch the PPV, I had no interest in it. But upon reading the results, something pissed me off....

quote:

Stone Cold got a chair and went to hit Kane, but Austin accidently knocked out HHH.

My thoughts? NICE, I was anticipating Raw and expecting some nice confrontations between HHH and Austin. Something (somewhat) fresh....

A bit later, I read the Main Event Results...
quote:

The Undertaker went for a Last Ride, but HHH nailed him with the sledgehammer. Kane came down to make the save, but was held back by HHH as the pin was made.

My thoughts?? Back to square one..hooray

That might result in one of them doing a face turn, which I agree, would be something fresh, but its way too early for that to happen. It will happen, but Vince & Co. have to milk the two man power-trip storyline for all its worth first.

Eventually HHH will be the one to turn face, at least I think... But the WWF stretching this out is what is pissing me off. I stopped watching the shows live, just so that I can buzz through a tape of them in like 45 minutes. I mean the last 3 PPV's are carbon copies.

My prediction, when they face Benoit and Jericho (possibly tonight), Austin will hit HHH by "accident again" and Benoit will get the pin on HHH for the titles. This will enrage HHH and you will see him and Austin pissed off at each other at the end of Raw.

If I was the booker,.... it would be simple.

Austin downs HHH causing the loss. HHH goes on smackdown stressing somepoints about accepting the backseat and going for the IC title, blah blah. Then have McMahon come out saying he only needs one guy by his side.
