| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00  | Past King of the Ring Winners 1993- Bret Hart 1994- Owen Hart 1995- Mabel 1996- Stone Cold Steve Austin 1997- Triple H 1998- Ken Shamrock 1999- Billy Gunn 2000- Kurt Angle. The King of the Ring Tournament is a stepping stone to take an Above Average Midcarder and turn him into a Main Eventer. In most cases it has worked, i.e. Austin, Triple H, Angle. Other times, it has not worked, i.e Mabel, Shamrock, Gunn. This year my pick for King of the Ring is Rhyno. I feel a push is coming his way, and him dropping the Hardcore Strap tonight could be a sign that hes ready to move up to bigger and better things, or it could not. Rhyno- I agree with Banger. Losing the Hardcore title to big show may have damned the title till Raven returns but I can see it now. Heyman- GORE! GORE!! RHYNO last ever ECW champ IS NOW THIS YEARS KOTR!!! Who knows we gotta see the card first to really think this out. | ||||

I know the Internet wrestling rumors are rarely true, but according to some, Jericho is supposed to face Austin for the title at KOTR. Now assuming this does happen, that would leave 1/2 of the tag champs with nothing to do, so what better way for Benoit to enter the KOTR tournament and win it all.  "What are you speaking? Test is a viable option, but you are forgetting one thing... They have this huge hard-on for the X-Fucktor right now, as well as Rhyno. Smart fans know that Rhyno has only 1 real move, the Gore. As down as I am on X-Prick, I think that there is a very good possibility that Albert or Justin Tolerable will be up there. I also think that the creative team is looking to have Benoit involved in a different angle.. he's probably going down the same road as Jericho did...
