| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | -Apparently, the fan favorites and picks for winning this year's King of the Ring tournament appear to be either Chris Benoit or a WCW wrestler. -This is only a rumor at this point, so take it for what it's worth. Triple H's injury could have possibly been exaggerated, although he was really injured, it just may not have been quite as serious as the WWF is making it out to be. Triple H may have just been given a much-needed vacation. -Paul Heyman is said to have been pushing for WWF management to lengthen the duration of main event matches. Obviously, this has been evident this past week as the matches have been longer, and this has been a major success. The longer matches are working well with WWF's current audience. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | to reply... 1) benoit does not need to win it to get a push, so i doubt that he'll win...also, no WCW guys will be in the bracket man 2) that rumor is exactly that, a rumor...i doubt if he even wants a vacation in fear that his pot could be taken...do u think austin wanted a vacation a year ago when hhh took over, NO but he was injured...same thing here, HHH is injured bad 3) Heyman is the man, he's supposedly the one who started this benoit-jericho push, and he is a genius for doing so cause now the WWF is getting fresh again. SO, i say, let paul do what he wants. Just my thoughts. Yea i be taking that zoloff, but thaz jus keepin me from killin y'all | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Teen, if you really watch what happened to HHH during the match (I watched the tape 3 more times after the initial live RAW) you see him collapse as soon as he breaks up the Walls of Jericho. He falls to the mat, holding his leg. Then on the outside, he is falling basically trying to get through the rest of the match. Then the doctor, do you really think they could pay a real doctor (I have seen doctor andrews in other interviews, it was him) in order to have him be part of the work? Sorry, but it is a legit injury that put him on the sideline and not just some more political crap that he wanted time off.  | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | None of that is my opinion. I do believe Benoit is the favorite for King of the Ring. Found all of this on a wrestling website that I use for info. Having 1 or 2 WCW's guys in make sense. It will help to push their relaunch. You know there will be another WCW guy tonight like Lance Storm last week. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | I'm all for Benoit winning the KOR. Now, Triple H is another story. His injury is real, but it might be slightly exagerrated. I Didn't think that when he hit Y2J with the sledge and fell looked too real, but it was. As for the longer main events. I like that idea Adopted by Sephiroth.Thx 4 the pic Austin 3:16. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | The only thing about filming a segment with stephanie in the hospital with HHH, is it makes people think its just a part of an angle...which is obviously happening. I have no way of knowing whether or not its legit or a work, but my money would be on it being a legit injury. | Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | CF u basically said exactly what i was goin to. noone in the wwf takes a "vacation" for more than maybe a week or two of programming. that's it. unless you're the rock and have bigger and better things to take care of. but no one in their right mind who has the status HHH does would ever take that long of a vacation. if you actually watched the match you'd see it was for real | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: May. 01 | HHH's injury is very real, it doesn't take much to tear a quadricep tendon. I would know, I did the very same thing 2 years ago to myself, torn left quadricep. The injury itself took almost no effort, but the pain was tremendous and regaining full function of my leg was grueling. He'll be out about 4 months and he'll start wrestling light matches then, probably getting back to full effect in about 6 months. | Hanger-On Registered: May. 01 | The WWF doesnt really need HHH.They are doing fine without him.The crowd doesnt really like him.They call him an asshole and other things.Although sometimes he will do things that are exciting,but that rarely happens.The only thing he seems to do now is hit people with sledgehammers.
