| Psychopath Registered: Feb. 01  | RF Video is reporting that, as you would expect since they used it on RAW with a clean (sorta) finish, the main event rumored for weeks of Austin-Jericho at KOTR will not be that. I'm guessing that since Benoit can't face his originally planned opponent of HHH, they might stick him in and make it a triple threat with Linda demanding it or something and maybe Foley will be involved, because CLEARLY they are setting up for Foley or somebody else turning heel after Foley hit Jericho with the chair last night. Maybe triple threat with Austin-Benoit-Jericho for the title and Foley as special guest ref saying he wants to make up for RAW and then turning heel on both Canadian Chrises at the PPV? Just my guess. Then again, I'm never right. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO! | ||||

UPDATED KING OF THE RING MAIN EVENT by Dave Scherer Updated: 6/5/2001 1:13:16 PM The word I am getting is that the King of the Ring main event has been changed. The match was originally scheduled to be Steve Austin vs. Chris Jericho for the WWF Title, but the word going around the locker room last night was that it has been changed to a Triple Threat match, with Austin defending the title against Jericho and Chris Benoit. | ||||

I don't even want to see the match if it's gonna be Austin, Jericho, and Benoit because then the match is gonna start off with Jericho and Benoit double teaming, and then Austin is gonna be on the ground knocked out. Then Their each gonna try to pin which will end up in them knocking each other out not caring aboot Austin. Then out of nowhere Austin stunners one of them and pins for the win. Doesn't the fact that the WWF feels that Benoit is good enough to be IN the main event as a face (much different than when he headlined as a heel, since faces get the buys, usually) added to Jericho being in there prove that the ceiling is shattered? I mean, they had to give Benoit SOMETHING to do at KOTR, right? Although, I do agree with the sentiment that triple threat matches are worse than one on one matches, I don't mind that BOTH Y2J and Benoit get put on the main event pedestal. And, dont forget my theory of Foley is Heel. That chair shot had to mean something other than proving Foley's got bad aim. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO! | ||||

They are trying to make us think that foley is gonna turn heel, but i think otherwise, Y2J will turn heel at KOTR, i just have a hunch about it. After the chair shot he stood in the ring with Jerrico and they didn't even give that quick glance of the wounded staring at the guy who accidently hit him and cost a match. You know the look I am talking about? They just ended it. Are you people really so blind that no one mentioned the fact that it ended with Foley fighting with William Regal. It is my opinion that is the obvious angle they would use.  Why dont you people get you own Sig pic...stop using my X symboll | ||||
