I hope I'm not the only one who hopes the WWF will let the Dudleys put some one through a flaming table like the did with Spike and Balls in ECW

Not likely that it would happen, but damn it would be great! They can't do that kind of stuff with their new nicer more family oriented attitude they are trying to achieve.

I don't see whay they couldn't do that kind of stuff - they should, but they should reserve it for the PPV's. This way, say some censorship activists feel like starting some truoble, the WWF's defense would be that people PAID to see this programming, and it wasn't freely available like a RAW or SMACKDOWN!. I think it would also make the PPV's a bit more "appetizing" (for lack of a better term), as there would be an air of seeing something that you definitely WOULDN'T see on a monday or thursday night. Just my two cents, carry on posting :)

I would not be shocked if Spike goes through one at Summerslam

I would tape the show if the Dudleys would use flaming tables! I wouldn't mind to see someone get burnt.

There is no way that the WWF would allow that. It is just a law suit waiting to happen. It is just a bad business move. Maybe if they started to slip drarasticly in the rating and they would try anything to get them back up. But I don't think that we will ever see a flaming table used in the WWF.

heres the reason it would probably never happen, as ludacris as it is.

EXAMPLE: My Son Is Dead Because Him ANd HIs Friends Were Just Doing what They Saw on TV this should not be on tv, im a responsible mother that doesnt know where my son is and what he is doing, and if i did i would have known that he was going thru a table on fire. I WANT MONEY!

I think Whackbag is right. If anyone ever got hurt trying it the first thing that would happen would be a lawsuit. They did it in ECW to get attention, good or bad, but WWF has enough good attention and doesn't need the negative something like that could bring.

It is true what whackbag is saying, but then again they can get pinned with that same bullshit by doing something that is routine at this point..it just doesnt seem like a legit reason not to do something new, because the same consequences can occur with all the things theyve been doing on a daily basis. With that said however, i still dont think theyd do it and it probably is because of that reasons.

Maybe the next time they are in Maryland Spike could reunite with Balls Mahoney and have a flaming tables match against the Dudleys. Oh wait, no I guess they can't do that!

In all honesty I think they could get away with using a flaming table if they did it at a ppv. I mean look at what shane did to the Big Show at the last one. He jumped off the titantron. And he also did it with blackman at last years summerslam. Now you have to know that some moron is bound to try it if not already did try it. I'm all for the flaming table thing and if someone tries it and gets hurt then that is just thinning the herd. they're stupid for tryin it. Fuck em.

Well, all of these ideas for a company that doesn't even take the "safe harbor" into effect... after 10, and if the program is rated "TV-MA," there are some language restrictions lifted, as well as some explictness restrictions lifted... so, hardcore in the second hour! Burn, baby, burn.

It's not the restictions that's hurting them. It's the pressure from advertisers and the possibillity of lawsuits from dumbasses who think it's ok to put their friends through a flamming table. Besides, something that big would have to be done at a ppv. Here's to hoping though
