Hanger-On Registered: Apr. 01 | The plexiglass was great. But what really impressed me was shane doing the 5-star splash. Anyone else notice that his whole moveset consists of finishing moves? I was there too and there were a lot of WOW signs. I hope they made it on TV.

Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | I have a million thigs on KOTR, but I will just leave these two. 1) Did anyone see the sign that said "Stalker Patty ----" that was most prominently seen when Edge was leaving the ring after his KOTR finals win. What did it say dammit? 2) Did anyone else notice the combination of Heyman, Ross, and DDP combine to say "Mindgames" multiple times.

O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | i just got back from the PPV, thanks WNEW for the amazing seats. shanes shooting star press was incredible, Booker T tossing stone cold was awesome, and some punk bastard kid getting arrested for a Fake ID was pretty fucking funny also my XPAC HAS SAND IN HIS VAGINA sign was a hit also just seeing XPAC live was good enuff for me to go get pizza and a tshirt i thought tazz's little promo on Austin was intriguing and i cant wait for that to unfold anyone else that was there think that the Refs were a bit off tonite, very pis poor counting and what not. i still dont see the point of having sara have a camera considering it was never shown on the tron. Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | -WBK, the refs counts were definately way off. The most glaing instance was during the Dudleys's match. When Bubba was being pinned and the ref hit a three count while waiting for Dvon to break up the pin. The crowd knew it and started to boo, and JR tried to say that the crowd was pissed at Dvon's dastardly attempt to break up the count. -I knew that sign would be a classic dude, good work. -Did anyone notice the ref steady the board on the Shane/Angle finisher? -One more note, listening to JR closely is hilarious. During the Shane/Angle match, when Shane hit angle with a garbage can lid, JR referred to Shane slamming the lid on Angle's "OYLMPIC HEAD"

O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | it wasnt that the ref counted to 3, it was he counted to 2 and then was going down for the 3rd and just stopped , and dvon came in 2 seconds later, it was horrible im really pissed that i didnt see the WOW van, i was too busy video taping DDP, riiiiiiiteeee. i was really dissapointed in only one thing the entire nite, u know what scratch that, 2 things FIRST AND FORMOST: im from NJ and i am embarassed at how pathetic of a wrestling crowd this state is it was pathetic, it was almost dead silent. MSG will be rocking the next 2 nites, and make NJ look like shit. 2nd of all, even though the match made up for it 10fold, no WCW interference in the Street Fight. guess it still leaves RVD for raw and shit but i wud have liked to see the WCW logo flash on the screen it also looks as though that WCW shane wore tonight is the first of all WCW merchandise, it had the little logo above the neck on the back like most WWF shirts

Psychopath Registered: Jun. 01 | My thoughts on the PPV: I thought the actual KOTR tournament was a huge disappointment. Every year before, it seemed like a major accomplishment to win the King of the Ring. This year, though, it seems like an afterthought. The matches themselves weren't bad, but could've been better. Oh well... I was also disappointed in the Tag Title match. They blew a couple of spots badly, and why was Kane Spike's partner? Sure it beats someone like Big Show, but why not bring in someone who could use some exposure, like maybe Jerry Lynn, or Raven, or RVD. RVD would have been SUPER over returning in NJ teaming with Spike, and just imagine the heat if Spike and RVD won the titles, and then got beat down by super-heels Bubba and Devon!! Is it just me, or has Jeff Hardy been WAY off of his game lately? Maybe all the crazy bumps are catching up to him. Oh yeah, and X-Pac still sucks... That bullshit with DDP and Taker was just so horrible. Who booked that crap? Shane vs. Angle was fuckin' insane!! Second best WWF garbage match ever, IMO, after HHH/Cactus from the Rumble last year. Shane gets props from me for doing what he did, as he's already set for life, and doesn't need to step in the ring at all. But when he does, he always gives it his best effort, which is more than can be said for certian other wrestlers. And who would have ever thought Angle would wrestle that kind of match, and done so well in it? Easily match of the night, it got a standing ovation in my living room. If every WWF hardcore match was more like this, the division would rule. The main event, I thought, was a slight let down. But given that Benoit went into the match injured, I probably shouldn't have expected too much. Still, a good match, Austin ruled it, and it sucks if he's going to have to take some time off now. I wouldn't really blame Booker T too much, though. The guy comes out for the first time in months, in the middle of a huge WWF title match, of course he's going to be a little overexcited. Overall, a decent show, saved by the last two matches. Saw a few WOW signs in the crowd too, which is always cool.
