Who will the records show as the current HC champ?

WTF is Fudge-Pac a champion of any kind? I thought they were looking to ELEVATE the LHW division, not flush it down the crapper!

Who else noticed that, standing behind Faarooq, leaning on the file cabinet, was the Go(o)dfather, wearing a FEATHERED DERBY? I'm all for an invasion if it brings back the Ho Train!

The hard-drinking APA, the EVIL Kaientai, the morally-upstanding RTC, the Hollys, X-Pac, K-Kwik, and Raven all working together? I guess the enemy of my enemy is my friend!

What was with Stevie in all black? Has he taken the ultimate step towards morality and become a priest?

All in all, not a bad RAW - Taijiri/Y2J match was pretty cool. X-Fag winning the LH belt - WTF??? I like the angle of WWF vs. WCW, and the talent coming together despite how they feel about each other to "fend off" the WCW. Stone Cold and Kurt Angle - made me laugh a few times. All in all, very good show, and it looks like the crowd was REALLY into it - wish I had been there!

Although we did see Trish in a bra. I could have been better but I didn't feel that it reached high RAW standards.

EXCEPT FOR XPAC, the sign still got lots of laughs, and it will go for the 3peat tomrorow nite.

i thought that it was an amazing raw, Farrooq landing the role as Malcom X is classic, we didnt land on wcw, wcw landed on us, that will be in his next promo i think.

AUSTIN CALLING ANGLE A DORK OVER AND OVER was classic also.

and the edge and the one standoff at the coronation, or now the trophy presentation was hilarious

looking foward to smackdown

Rock is out, HHH is out, Benoit is out, Rikishi's out, Scotty's out, and now, it's come to this...

I don't get how Doug could have said that show sucked. They don't get that much better. It was a good 8 out of 10 show.

I'll agree with Doug here, I thought RAW sucked a big fat dick!! What was wrong with it you ask??

There was only one good match, Tajiri vs. Jericho. And it only lasted 5 minutes.

Billy Gunn was on my TV. And he sucks as bad as ever.

X-Pac, Lightheavyweight Champion.

Big Show was on my TV. And he's a comedian again??

They totally ruined Mike Awesome stealing the Hardcore title. It would have had much more impact if it had happened in front of the crowd.

Why isn't Regal wrestling? With Benoit out, he's the best worker they have, and he hasn't worked a match in what seems like months.

Couldn't they have found a better opponent for Tazz than Richards?? And he still only gets 20 seconds?

The Dudleys still aren't being given the opportunity to be the heels they should be. Bring it back, ECW style!!

DDP is awful. The angle with Undertaker still sucks.

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things, but that's the gist of it. Come on, the WCW invasion should be the biggest event EVER, but so far, they are blowing it big time. I hope Smackdown! picks up the slack, but somehow I doubt it. Again, I ask, who booked this crap?

I think the guy in the derby was Chaz, not the Godfather.
Regal sucks. He is so boring and slow... I don't care how many moves he knows.
Did anyone else notice the "program" from the Vince Sr. tribute in the beginning? The banner said "World Championship Wrestling."
X-Pac whiffed on a drop kick in the 1st minute of the match, and the place went nuts booing him.
Why are Austin and Vince gay now?
And I have to agree, no comedy Big Show!

They're not playing gay... it seems to me like a "long lost daddy" type of angle. Oh yeah, and the guy in the fedora was the Go(o)dfather. Chaz is in Ohio Valley, last I read... BTW: for those of you who are "so" in to detail... what's with Essa Rios? Is it me, or does he look even more skeletal then before? He's going to be the first WWF "Light Peanutweight" Champion... sickly looking....

Tajiri 3:16, 7:16, 9:16, and 11:30.

The guy in the hat was the godfather, next to bull, both in regular clothes.

Raw was great, one of the best in a while. heres some of my thoughts.

Steven Richards segment was good, it put Tazz over, which is good.

The Faarroq thing with him leading the wwf vs wcw could be great, it will lead to cross promotional matches, and dream matchups.

Seeing Rhyno powerbomed on the ladder hurt me sitting on my couch, and having Awesome win (and he looked pretty good too) was a good thing. Once I saw that, I knew what the invasion was about. It set the tone, that WCW wasnt playing around.

The Austin and Angle stuff was very funny, watching their faces as they talked was riotous, they are getting funny. Booker T punking out Vince was good, although who didnt see that coming when Austin went to WWFNY.

And finally, X-pac winning the LH title. That sucked, but what can you do. I hate him, but hopefully he will be killed on the plane to Cali next week.

Did you notice the WWF group that is rising against WCW were all the ones who were rumored to be going there anyway?

1)APA
2)RTC
3)Essa Rios
4)Taka
5)Raven
6)Steve Blackman

-Also the DDP angle sucks right now. He really has to pick it up because he looks like a big pussy.

-I think Booker T will do a great job.

-They are saying the multiman tag match at Invasion will be for the Raw slot on Monday nights. It is rumored to be a 5 on 5. You know Vince and Shane will both be wrestling on opposing sides and they will just add 4 wrestlers to each side.

I thought it was the best that it could be. No Rock, HHH, Benoit, and Stone Cold and Angle never even stepped into the arena (where the crowd could see them live, that is) and they put Jericho up against a weak Tajiri. With all that, and a predictable ending, it was a good show.

Bottom line, Edge was funny again. They nailed the Billy Gunn thing right on the head. But then again, was anyone actually watching the match with the Hogan look alike running around the garden?

Let the Big Show do the comedy. He wasn't going anywhere where he was, a change of pace does make it moderately interesting.

Did those "Garden Moments" air on tv? It seemed a little to hokey for anyone not in the audience.

I hate the Stone Cold needs a hug thing, its just fucking pathetic. The fact that he feels Angle is taking away some of Vince's love for him is just stupid.

Only saw pieces of RAW last night, but everything I saw was good. I love the fact that Jericho and Tajiri got it on, and that the Sacred Madison Square Garden was "besmirched" by a WCW wrestler! Seeing MIke Awesome, who dropped at least 15 pounds and looks great, win the hardcore title was cool, even though I would have rather he beat Test instead of stealing Rhyno's heat.

Raw was real good last night, though did anyone catch the ironic storytelling?

The Austin- McMahon storyline started when Stone Cold stunned Vince McMahon in Madison Square Garden on Raw in September of 1997 (I know, I was there). They didn't really continue the angle until Bret got screwed and people booed Vince, and then Vince said, "Ok, well if they hate me anyway, I might as well make them want to KILL me!" and turned heel on Austin, BUT it was understood that Vince's hatred of Austin stemmed from that event.

Back to June 2001 on RAW: The WCW storyline starts in earnest with Booker T doing HIS move (that kick thing) on Vince McMahon in where? Madison Square Garden! AND he needs Austin to HELP him this time around.

*sob* See, wrestling CAN be poetry, kids.

BTW, it will be cool to see how Angle goes to WCW as rumored since he is positioned as one of the top WWF guys. his stuff with Austin last night was HI-LAR-I-OUS! And yes, Ferret, Jericho had cute nicknames, too. Already used a billion times nicknames, but cute nonetheless.

I do believe that this explains why I didn't like the show. Plus the ending was extremely predictable. Like I didn't know something was going to happen with Vince when Austin and Angle left. 5 out of 10. It would have been better if Austin and Angle met Booker T in the Cafe while Vince met with Shane and another high profile wrestler from ECW or WCW. This way they could have gone split screen and showed Shane beating Vince, while Austin and Angle beat Booker T. It would have been excellent foreshadowing for the weeks to come.

Kind of Ironic with Faarooq leading the Anti-WCW strike force, considering that he's a former WCW Champion, which made him the first Black world HW champion in any federation.

Also, anyone notice: Tajiri has been on WWF TV for like a month, and on his third match he's main-eventing RAW at MSG!

Did anyone else notice that when Edge was walking down for his King of the Ring celebration Heyman said something like "Finaly a real king on Raw" looks like a cheap shot at lawler.

Heyman has always made vague comments about Lawler and talking about "kings" on WWF programming. It's more of an intention to piss off Ross (or at least his "character"). It's not really a cheap shot. Especially when one considers the rumors about Lawler ranging from, at worst, being on better terms with the WWF to, at best, being signed as a part of the WCW invasion and to be a commentator on Nitro/ Raw when WCW takes over Mondays.
