My favourite has to be when mankind and the rock were defending the WWF tag titles in a Buried Alive match against Taker and The Big Show weeks after the Corporate Ministry formed. Triple H got his ass kicked by austin, new Tag Champs it was the perfect night, it was the best fuckin episode of SmackDown

Well, with the 100th episode tomorrow night, I guess this is as good a time as ever to ask this question.

I'd have to say the best episode was one of the first ones where Vince McMahon beat HHH for the world title, shockingly enough, the ONLY world title change in Smackdown history.

At least it was one of the best moments, although I'd have to say the best all-around episodes would probably be a tie between the TLC Smackdown and the Benoit-Austin Smackdown back-to-back. They were great start to finish two hour shows.

My favorite has to be the one where all the wrestlers came out and wrestled and the announcers announced and they cut promos and it was all good.

But seriously though, my favorite episode has got to be the TLC 3 episode.

The TLC 3 smackdown was one that currently stands out in my mind as my favorite one.

I cant remember what I had for dinner last night, let alone 100 episodes of smackdown, but I would think my fave match sofar would be tlc3, because I remember that one. The first ever smackdown was very good too.

Lately, they have been real good because of the comedy. I cant remember any shows for the whole 2 hours, i have a bad memory. I do remember TLC 3, which is obvious, but i dont know if the rest of that show was good. I also remember when my olymipc hero won the european title, and also when hbk turned on the rock and superkicked him against hhh.

FYI- SmackDown is going to be live August 16th & 23rd according to Linda McMahon.
I don't know if it has anything to do with the Invasion angle. They represented as a "celebration" of 100 episodes.

A educated guess of mine for this is they have been blaming internet spoilers for the decrease in recent Smack Down ratings. They most likely want to see if they get a significantly higher ratings before making such of huge transistion from 1 to 2 live shows a week.

Just to clear this up, Smackdown was supposed to go live starting August 16 as WCW was going to get Raw, so they didn't want the WWF's show to be taped, hence Smackdown would go live. However, with the flop of WCW the first week leading to the decision that ECW would be brought into the fold and that all WCW/ECW guys would be heels, the WWF decided the WCW show wasn't going to start anytime soon yet, so Raw would remain a WWF program, and so they might as well stay with the current schedule.

However, they already announce those two dates as Smackdown live tapings, so they decided to explain it away as a "gift" to the fans for 100 shows. The "internet spoiler" thing was a lame coverup by Linda McMahon that got overexaggerated on the net that she said in a press conference a couple months ago where she told stockbrokers Smackdown would go live, but didn't want to give any storylines away about giving Raw to WCW, so she made it up to cover up the REAL reason Smackdown was going live at the time.

In reality, too little of the audience reads the spoilers anyway and in many cases, such as this week, spoilers might actually HELP ratings if it looks like a good show, so the spoilers mean nothing unless you're gonna give away title changes a month in advance like the WWF used to do in the mid 90s when they'd tape 4 episodes of Raw in one night.

The one that sticks out for me is when Mankind faced HHH for the WWF Title. The Crowd was SO loud and chanting Foley. When Mick ALMOST had that 3 count the crowd went insaine when HHH kicked out of the Mandible Claw, I was on the Edge of my seat. It was a great match even though Mankind didn't win. Im not sure when the match took place but It was a few SMACKDOWN!'s before the Rock vs Mankind PinkSlip match.

Oh yea!
