Well we found out who it was, I was kinda suprised, I totally thought it was gonna be angle. A great show none the less. RVD's win was the best match on the show.

Awesome PPV! This has been one of their best in a long time. You just knew someone had to turn from the WWF side, but I just wasn't sure if it was gonna be Austin or Vince.
Guess this sets up the big return of the Rock for a rematch at SummerSlam unless they want to throw Angle back into title contention to take on Austin after what happened tonight.
Aside from the weak Regal-Raven match this PPV was great.

Invasion was definitely one of the better PPV's. I totally did not expect the Austin turn. My prediction was going with Y2J even though he was probably the obvious choice. But that match with Billy Gunn, Big Show and Albert was just stupid. That match should have absolutely been won by them. Either that or that match should have never taken place.
Oh and by the way, who the hell is Hugh Morris?

i was surprised but if you think about it, it makes total sense. this gives The Rock a PERFECT comeback role. he will be the savior of the wwf and take his place back as king of the wwf. i see another austin vs. rock main event at summerslam with some added juice this time. maybe a stipulation match of some sort too. all in all a great ppv i thought and as always RVD steals the show.

Raven had to do a crap match with Regal --- Regal is old and slow and should NEVER wrestle

Regal was just rusty. Normally he can be counted on for a good match. He's much better than Raven on his best day.

As for the rest, the main event was amazing. I wasn't a huge fan of the rest but the main event made up for it. I'm definately looking forward to RAW tomorrow night.

They only way to set up a Rock vs Austin match at
Summerslam without throwing the whole ECW/WCW vs WWF out the window was to have Austin turn...Me and my friends saw it a mile away tonight, and this should make for an interesting Raw tomorrow night

Fuck Austin turning "Heel" (I'm rooting for ECW), fuck the rock coming back. I want to see RVD vs. Lynn.

Invasion was great. RVD/Jeff Hardy was intense. Bra and Panties could have been a lot better. Albert/Big Slow/Billy Bitchcakes was a joke. Edge and Christian match was not bad. Tajiri/Tazz was slow paced but nonetheless pretty good.

Although...My question is...where do we go from here. Austin is now an ewcw-er so The Rock can come back. Wow. They are going to shove the Rock down our throats again. Looks like WWF TV is going to get lame again.

I really didnt like the ending, all this does is forces us to watch the fuckin Rock come back. That will suck. I am glad that Kurt is gonna be the main guy now.

As for the rest of the ppv...i have one thing to say: RVD! RVD! RVD! I cant wait till its jerry lynn vs RVD

Wait, X pac actually Jobbed at a PPV, what a miracle.

I'm not much of a wrestling encyclopedia outside of recent (3-4 years) WWF, and I never saw Regal in any other capacity than his gimmick now. But everyone says this guy can put on such a good match but every time hes in the ring he looks like shit. I'm not a fan who is only gratified by a guy taking a table bump, or lame shit like Taker and his bike, dont think im one of those fans. But Regal had put on slow, sloppy matches. Bottom line.

I knew that austin turning was a possibility but i have to admit i definately never thought it would happen...the only time i realized it was gonna happen was when it came down to just Angle and Booker in the ring at the end i turned to my friend and said austins gonna turn right here but other than that it was a complete surprise to me

Great PPV overall...Rob Van Dam was off the charts, Tajiri beating Taz was great and I don't care if it was Regal he beat, how nice was it to see Raven get a PPV win for once?

The 6-man was a waste of time...basically, with the exception of Kanyon, it's a bunch of guys absolutely NO ONE cares about...

And I've seen no one mention Edge & Christian beating Lance Storm & Mike Awesome...it was definitely one of the better tag matches I've seen in ages...

Also, did anyone else notice that the matches lately have had a real ECW feel to them? The Heyman influence is definitely showing here...

Austin has never worked under his real name. He never wrestled as "Steve Williams" because the name was already taken.

Regal is an awesome, awesome mat wrestler, he is a submission expert, and he is legitametely probably the toughest guy on the WWF roster. I'll agree that he hasn't done anything too impressive since joining the WWF, but he also hasn't really been given the chance. His match against Benoit last August (a couple of months before debuing in the WWF, probably the best US match last year), his WCW wars with Fit Finlay, Dave Taylor, and Benoit, his brutal matches in Europe, and his shoot on Goldberg (which got him fired from WCW) speak for themselves if you ever get the chance to see them. The guy is the real deal, period. He, along with Tajiri and Angle, are my three favorite active WWF wrestlers (since Benoit is injured and Malenko is on hiatus or whatever). Please, don't knock the guy because of bad booking, Regal is MONEY!!

I didn't watch the PPV yet, I'll probably watch the tape sometime this week. But turning Austin heel, again?? That's three turns in three months. One thing that KILLED WCW in it's Russo years was the constant turns of major stars. I really hope this doesn't become a pattern...

Nice picture, he was a fag :)

It was SO important for Kidman to have a great match and win over X-fuck. By doing what they did, they stepped up Kidman, and made people notice him, and he is the # 2 guy from WCW I think, behind Booker as far as workrate and overall talent and charisma and ability.

DId anyone notice that Kidman wore tights??? No jean shorts and no wifebeater. He looked like a wrestler. Thank god they are starting to use him properly.

Regal is a quality wrestler who is very experienced, and if he is at his peak, which is usually, but for some reason not last night, he is excellent. Last night was odd for him. Good to see Raven win though.

And it cant be said enough:

RVD RVD RVD RVD RVD
The RVD and ECDub chants last night were great. What a night. Raw tonite should be good I think.

maybe we'll see the stun gun again lol. Kurt better kick his ass tonight, even though i know that he wont win cause that piece of shit Rock is coming back soon...oh and by the way, it does look like Dave Scherer was right, no Rock at the ppv, and probably not tonight either.

As for Regal -- maybe we will see him again tonight in a tag match -- does Regal and Tajiri VS Raven and Tazz

Guys who say "better than Raven" has not seen some of Raven's other Fed's matches -- granted when his head is not in it he can suck as bad as X-pac -- but when is is on --look out
As for Regal -- I think he needs to try more Sub moves his ring speed just isn't there, I think he is a great submission wrestler, but put him in the ring with someone with more speed and it makes him look old.

As for the PPV -- best one in a while (but with the other ones sucking so bad that isn't saying that much) I still wish they would learn how to use some wrestlers in the WWF

I wouldn't say that Kidman is the number two talent out of WECW. He is good but personaly I would put Lance Storm over him.

i personally saw austin turning heel since the day the match was announed to make the money-making austin vs. rock at summerslam. but i was still hoping the wwf would turn j2y or angle, but instead they went with the obvius.

rvd vs. jeff hardy stole the show last night. his was ceratinly the best ppv since wretlemania.
thank god for free cable!!!

at summerslam i think it should be austin(wecw) vs. angle(wwf) for the wwf title with bret hart as referre(considering he has been in wcw and wwf) that would make a pretty good storyline.

Bye - Bye Jackass
