Pretty interesting Raw. I think they should have done something with the title since it is now in WECW territory. It's good that Lance Storm has the IC belt, if anyone from ECW is going to have it besides RVD, it should be him. RVD!! What else can I say about him? Reaked of awesomeness indeed. Raven did not look good again tonight, which i dont really understand.

Kurt is the man!! It is great that he is becoming the top guy, and hearing the fans chant his name was great. I didnt like the idea of having him follow up the whole Rock thing, because those stupid fans didnt know what to do, boo or cheer him. And the Mr. T thing with Booker T was funny as hell. And I really like how they are making DDP a sick bastard.

Overall, it was a great show, i really hope it will be Austin vs Angle at Summerslam instead of Rock vs Austin. Let Rock fight Booker T instead.

Raw was great. Did anyone else notice what happened during the Edge, Christian, Angle vs. Booker T, Bubba, and D-Von match?

Angle goes to do a reverse on D-Von, and D-Von lands right on the table, but it doesn't break! It just collapses. Nice Improv on Angle, Bubba's and D-Von's part to set it up again.

Then with Angle back in the ring, he goes to send Booker T through the table and the leg collapses with Booker T's weight. Here comes Bubba again, with the leg broken, he sets it up in the corner, and more improv, Booker T goes through the table.

Time for the WWF to go for the lower quality tables!

Can Kurt Angle finally start to get respect as the best overall talent of the WWF card?

The guys mike work and persona is great. Its got layers to it. The guy can make you crack up one minute, then you are loving the intense Kurt Angle a few segments later. He did a great job on those table spots, way to not lose his cool when the tables didn't break and still make the spots look good. Especially the second Booker table spot. I mark out silly for Angle, hes been the best since his undefeated streak a year and a half ago.

To steal a small point from Scott Keith's (wrestleline.com) Raw Rant, Undertaker is so worthless. He won't sell a single move for anyone under 6'3 who isn't one of the top two or three guys in the biz. X pac rules compared to Taker.

Whackbag, I agree with every single damn word you said! Angle, I think has it all to be a "Austin and the Rock" level of face and he truly has it all.

[WARNING: rant mode on] A-FUCKING-MEN on the Taker. Not only is he boring, his character is stale (though I DON'T want him to go back to embalming people and rolling his eyes to the back of his head, thank you very much) and in the ring, he sucks balls and is a no-selling peice of shit. He basically squashed Rhyno last night. Rhyno could very well be the future, or at least part of it, Taker's best days are behind him, TRY MAKING HIM LOOK GOOD ON YOUR WAY OUT, YOU SELFISH FUCK! Jericho won his match against Kanyon, too, and managed to make him not only look good in the ring, but even put his catchphrase over! And Jericho ISN'T on his way to retirement where he doesn't have to worry about his character's credibility like you, and can just afford to maybe return all the times someone made HIM look good on HIS way to the top. You and Kane main eventing after Wrestlemania was probably the worst consistent 2 months of WWF TV since 1997 with ratings going down that are only starting to go back up NOW, and you at top was partly, if not mostly, the reason for it. Just retire, get more entertaining, or, if you won't do either of those two, HELP SOME GUYS OUT BY MAKING THEM LOOK GOOD AGAINST A "LEGEND," OK? You're a slightly nicer, less powerful version of Hulk Hogan at the end. In short, Undertaker not only worse than Xpac, TAKER WORSE THAN AIDS AND UPS COMBINED!!!! [rant mode off]

Just one last Raw observation other than it was a great show: Albert FINALLY looked good for once, and it was on his way to losing the belt! I still think he's a talentless peice of shit with no charisma, but last night gave some hope I guess, and maybe he should lose titles more often if he's gonna put on good showings like last night. How great was the Ultimate Warrior ripoff he did halfway into the match?!

Man, Taker and Albert really set me off don't they?

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLO!

I was pretty surprised that one didnt break, it looked like Dvon hit it with alot of velocity..ross did a good job of covering up and putting angle over after that.

As for Albert finally having a good match, he was in there with one of the best wrestlers there is so i dont know how hard he had to try, but i still agree.

As O&A might say, "Well, ya!"

You know I didn't really think about him untril now, and he is EXACTLY him, only without the faggy hair dye to cover up his gray hair!

For those who say The Undertaker isn't any good now, I have to ask. When was he EVER good?? Seriously, he was NEVER, NEVER, NEVER a good wrestler. Period. I can't stress that enough.

Yes, he has charisma. Yes, he played his gimmick as well as anyone ever could have. And yes, he is a part of WWF history. But how many great matches has he had?? The first HIAC? Sure, it was damn good. But it was 90% Shawn Michaels bumping his ass off. The second HIAC? Please...most overrated match ever. If Foley didn't die twice, nobody would even remember it. Boiler Room Brawl?? Uh, sure...

After that, what else is there? A bunch of bad matches against Hogan, Yokozuna, fake UT, Giant Gonzales, Sid, and Kane. Color me unimpressed.

It's good that people are seeing the SUCK that is The Undertaker, but it's unfortunate that it took ten years to realize this. :):):)

Raw turned out a bit better than I expected it to. I never saw the Lance Storm win of the IC title coming! It is nice to see that they are recognizing the talent of the WCW workers and giving them a chance to shine as well. Now if only they would have given Palumbo and O'Haire the same rub at the ppv, I would be truly happy.

As for Mr. Taker...past his prime, Hoganesque, Kevin Nash like...all of these things describe him. Sure, he is loved by the fans (for some reason) but come on. Give the guys on the way up a chance to keep this business going or else this business that made you all that money will not be around anymore. If guys like taker don't give the rub to Rhyno and others then it is just WCW all over again, and we know how that went. So please people in the crowds at WWF live events, do not cheer for this guy. Sure it is rude, but maybe the WWF will get our point and stop pushing him and instead giving the younger guys a chance.

I'm just glad they're not turning it into a NWO angle where every match gets interrupted or some wrestler gets demolished every show.

Maybe he's pissed b/c he had to get his ass handed to him by Angle last week...

Actually, that second try by Angle & Booker was real sweet. He went through HARD.

I'm waiting for them to go all the way... GonzoDDP! Actually, question about DDP, and tying in the Taker stuff. Is it Taker, DDP, or the booking that keeps Page from any kind of offense against him? I could see one thrashing, but this feud will get old quick going one way, no? For the record I've always liked Taker, esp. the deadman stuff, but I can see your points about selling younger guys. I've always thought him and Kane turn the "indestructible" thing on and off too frequently- you either are or aren't!

RVD. So far, looks pretty good. Are there ECW tapes out? I'd like to see some of these classics you guys talk about.

WCW guys. What is it with all the pauses between moves? Keep it moving!

I ALWAYS cringe when they move a table before some one goes thru one, I always think that they will be impailed on the leg or something. It has almost happened a few times. Death on live TV would be good for ratings, but would totally kill wrestling I think. TV, not PPV.

hey wookie...go check out the local video store. there are a few ecw dvd's out there right now, and some really good matches on each one! I only own one of them, but will be purchasing all of them in the near near future. I wouldn't recommend any one over the others, but i have most of the msg shows on tape, and I bought quite a few of their videos from their catelog...good luck in finding them.
