» In a recent interview by Phil Speer, X-Pac discussed his WWF career, and the recent WCW/ECW InVasion on the World Wrestling Federation. Whether you hate him or love him, this past week, X-Pac unified the WWF Lightheavyweight Title and WCW Cruiserweight Championship by defeating Billy Kidman.

"Considering the fact that I kind of lost a little face at Invasion, I proved myself," X-Pac said, when asked how he felt about being the first unified champion.

The 28 year old WWF superstar emphasized that although his match with Billy Kidman at InVasion was pretty good, he believed it could have been a lot better.

"We got a little bit short on time and had to leave quite a few things out. I was still getting some steam on him and then we had about a minute left," X-Pac said, when he was asked on how he could have improved his match at InVasion. "We cut out a lot of stuff that would have added to the drama of the match at the end. We'll try to lobby for some more time next time to give the people the match a lot of them were expecting."

X-Pac went on to say that he never believed that he would win the WCW Cruiserweight Championship, after defecting back to the WWF.

"No, that's the last thing I thought was going to happen," X-Pac said. "It's nice to unify the belts. That's the first. It's great."

Also, X-Pac (real name Sean Waltman) told Speer that he is only competing in the Lightheavyweight division for the money. But he went on to say that the WWF has yet to place any emphasis on the division yet, which is contrary to what they said. X-Pac believes that they could elevate the Lightheavyweight division by placing some ECW wrestlers in the division such as Tajiri.

"They tried to get me to do it (compete in the Lightheavyweight division) a while ago and I was against it," X-Pac told Speer. "But I just thought that they were going to be serious about it this time...But they haven't shown me anything yet."

When asked about whether fans should cheer him or boo him, X-Pac said he really doesn't care. He feels that he is the only guy in the company that is a true heel besides Triple H. However, if the WWF wants him to be a babyface, he'll do it better than anyone else.

"There's no confusion whatsoever, I don't think," X-Pac said, on whether fans should cheer him or not. "I'm the only guy in the company that is actually a heel...If you want to turn me babyface, I'll out-babyface damn near anybody in this company."

Lastly, the leader of the (dissected) X-Factor said that The Rock's return boosted the federation a lot, since the fans are becoming a lot more interested in the product. However, X-Pac did say that there will be plenty of anti-Rock fans as he comes back from a 4 month hiatus.

"There's some fans that are going to have some animosity toward him because he went to do a movie," X-Pac told WWF.com. "Mind you, he got more cheers than boos, but I did hear a fair share of boos when they announced his name."

Thats so stupid. He has no idea that people hate him, hate his gimick, hate his persona, and he thinks that people booed the Rock? When the Rock came down, the crowd cheered louder than I have heard in a while. Thats ponderous that this guy thinks he is something when he is a total nothing at this point.

He says he is the only true heel and he could be the biggest babyface in the company. The only way he would get cheered is if he was shot and killed in the ring.

as much as everyone hates his guts, he has been working a lot harder lately, and at least it looks like he wants to do well.

I found it interesting that they went back to his DX music on RAW. Anyone else think they did this to lessen the heel heat he receives?

"What are you speaking, German Brian?"

"Brian, what the hell are you talking about?"

Um, Flock

I think the dissected part referring to the X-factor group might have something to do with him going back to his old DX music.
