O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01 | Added to Relics, Works, A Collection of Great Dance Songs, not to mention 3 live albums... I think this makes them the band with the most re-hashed material. Don't get me wrong, I am a die-hard Floyd fan, and have all 21 studio albums, but how about some new writing... Gilmour, you are allowed to put the twinkee down and pick up a pen... PINK FLOYD have confirmed details of a retrospective album, 'ECHOES - THE BEST OF PINK FLOYD', which will feature material never before released on CD. The as-yet-unconfirmed material will feature on the double longplayer which is released on November 5 via EMI. The album will contain the highlights from the group's career, including 'See Emily Play', 'Money', 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond', 'Wish You Were Here', 'Comfortably Numb', 'One Of These Days' and 'Arnold Layne'. The artwork for the record is set to be an 'interpretation' of the band's classic covers by long-time collaborator Storm Thorgerson. I believe in the Faith... that can save me. They say there's going to be un-released material on this, but who knows how much. I believe in the Faith... that can save me. I believe in the hope and I pray... O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00 | quote: I am not up on added bonus tracks but Floyd has remastered all their shit. What pisses me of is the new Essential Billy Joel... He had Greatest Hits Vol 1 & 2 Then he had Greatest Hits 3 Then he combined all 3 into a Box Set w/ a limited edition live disc. Out of all these rehashed releases not any of these releases have "Prelude/Angry Young Man". Fuck Billy Joel in the ass with Elton John's Fag Stick. O&A Board Veteran Registered: Feb. 01 | I love Billy Joel, but he doesn't have 3 full discs of Greatest Hits. Yet similarly Springsteen puts out his Greatest Hits without anything pre-BTR. No Rosie! Yet he puts on several never before released songs. That I had a problem with. I believe in the Faith... that can save me. I believe in the hope and I pray...
