Close second was the JaRule and Nelly thing where not only did it not sound like Aerosmith, they didn't even come close to sounding like Run DMC. It was a total MTV exposure thing to get people not into Aerosmith to watch it anyway. I dont think that Pink and Shakira were ever influenced by Aerosmith, at least I can't ttell from their music that they were. On the plus side, that Train song of "Dream On" was amazing (which is tough for me to say because I absolutely hate them). They managed to make it sound almost like an Aerosmith song. Kid Rock sounded cool, and the Dr. Dre Eminnem song that they played 3 seconds of sounded pretty promising.  | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Mar. 02 | I agree with Ferret about Train. I thought they sounded great, esp. with the high notes at the end. Papa Roach Sucked(big surprise). Metallica looked like a bunch of pussies. Shakira was horrible(Im surprised she didnt sing in spanish). I wasnt crazy about Walk This Way 2002, but I liked the Montage Aerosmith played at the end. | ||||

I liked Lars' bleached hair.(In case he didn't already look too LA). I also liked his comment about being in a room full of people who have "means". Don't say something like that and then nickel and dime your fans for every last cent. [Sarcasm]I can't wait for them to release the collaboration they did with Ja Rule [/Sarcasm] | ||||
