Why in the world would Eminem be on KRock? I listen to KRock to get away from bullshit junk like that, and now it seems whenever I put it on it's on - I can see if it was RAP-ROCK, like alot of songs are now, but it's pure rap and I'm going to knife someone if I hear it more then 7 more times.

What is this hot97? I expect Ja Rule and Mobb Deep to be played after System of a Down. Hell even get rid of the Howard guy and replace them with Starr and Buc Wild.

That old gag.

Eminem on K-Rock of shit is old news. They've been playing rap for a while now, but it seems to depend on if the rapper has worked with rock stars. Method Man has been on a lot.

True- but like I said - Usually the RAPy stuff they play on KRock has a Rock beat to it, or is with Rock artist, like Method man.

The song isnt bad, so who cares if they play it or not. I'd rather listen to Eminem than half of the crap they play on Krock. Im tired of 50 bands all sounding the same.

I'm not much of a rap fan, but this new 'song' by him is catchy...The video is pretty funny too...The looks he was getting from Dre were priceless...

I don't really care about Eminem's music, that isn't what has always pissed me off about the guy. If I hear his stuff, then sure I'll listen to it or whatever. Granted it isn't exactly my type of music ,but I can put up with it.

What's always annoyed me about Eminem is that he's pretty much made a career of ragging on other musicians. He'll make fun of groups because their fanbase consists of teenage girls and suburban white kids, but the simple fact is that the majority of his fan base is EXACTLY the same people who are buying the newest N Sync album. The way Eminem talks it's like he thinks that people in places like Harlem are bopping to his newest pop rap song (Listen to it, it is pop rap).

I don't have a problem with the music I just have a problem with what this guy thinks he is rather than what he actually is in reality.

K-Rock has always played M and M's music. Why would they stop now? I actually like his music as well as the music from a few other rappers.

:rolleyes::):-D

it isn't a new thing...they play rap when it will get them more listeners...they don't care if they piss off the people who like only the rock because they have no where else to go...so if they can add the rap audience they will do whatever they can to do it

As long as people are calling and requesting it, rock stations are going to play it. The same with Method Man, Cypress Hill and other rappers that have a rock appeal

Simple answer

Eminem has drawing power, like him or hate him, in the last few years he is one of the few people whose album sales come close to all the boy band shit, so naturally stations will want him on.

First off crinkle he doesn't bash them because of their fanbase. He bashes them cause they suck. And because it all sounds alike. It's boring. And plenty of hardcore hip hop fans listen to eminem. Even people in harlem. I actually saw him in concert with a someone who actually lives in harlem.

I believe eminem is the only person who knows what he's thinking.

Despte what alot of you guys think Eminem has alot of talent and is one of the best emcee's in mainstream hip hop. Eminem used to be a huge name in the underground scene before Dre took him into the mainstream. The singles and their corresponding videos dont really showcase his true talent. It's on the songs you don't here on the radio/MTV where Em really shines like on the verses he spit on Renegades and Revelation. It's on his freestyles from the rap olympics where he really shines. His new album is not all about dissing pop stars and shock value like people will assume and is really quite good from what I've heard of it so far. Eminem has a sick flow and is really one the better lyricists in hip hop so everyone whose questioning his talent or his roots from which he came need to re-evaluate them.
