 | With the resurgence of everything 80's and today's world climate, I'm surprised this concept hasn't been optioned as a live action movie.
From Silverbulletcomicbooks.com :
"SBC has received word that Cartoon Network is planning on bringing back the original G.I. Joe cartoon series for a 6 week trial. If initial response is positive, the series could become a part of Cartoon Network's permanent schedule. Starting on July 1st at 1am (Eastern), which is technically July 2. It will air four nights a week in that time slot for six weeks.
Fans of the new G.I. Joe series published by Devil's Due and Image Comics should check out the series that spawned the comics adaptation."

| Get Transformers and Go-bots back on the air, then we have something. This is a great start though.
With as popular as certain Transformers products have been lately, I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.

| I've read the comics so far and they seem pretty good. Although there are a few things I don't understand(bringing back supposedly dead characters). They tried to bring back Voltron a few years ago as a 3D thing...wasn't that good.

| Speaking of He-Man. I read something a while back that Cartoon Network was trying to buy the rights to show He-Man and wasn't going to pay what Filmation wanted. I'd rather watch He-Man than some of the other crap on Cartoon Network. And yes Snake Eyes kicked ass, still does, but I was always a big fan of Clutch, Flash, Roadblock, and Cutter.

| A brand new HE-MAN cartoon is in production and should be airing VERY soon, if it isn't already. Cartoon net I think.
From the pics I've seen around the net they really haven't changed it too much.

| Yeah it sucks tough that they're replaying the movie. . .I can rent that - I want to see some of the older episodes - my favorite was the when Storm Shadow found Excalibur - that was great.
And the Dreadnoks first appereance was a great show too - Buzzer, Ripper, Torch - Zartan was ill.
DId anyone else out there ever read the old comic series? Larry Hama was the man -
