Apparently the South Africa edition of “Sesame Street” is introducing this September a new Muppet infected with the HIV virus. "Part of the point here is that there is no systemic education for children about the HIV virus and AIDS. They often receive a lot of misinformation," Sesame Street Workshop veep Joel Schneider tells the trade paper. It's estimated that one in nine South Africans now carry the virus. The new muppet has not yet been named. '...and the dead shall rise.'
