This may seem a little old but Bob Dylan "Everybody Must Get Stoned."

May I nominate System of a Down's "Spiders" or Godsmack's "Voodoo." Those songs are mellow and just the thing when you are stoned.

Sublime's 40oz to freedom is better in the summer for some reason. But when you are high listen to the chili peppers, especially the new album and focus on flea's bass playing, its sick.

Stoned and relaxing or stoned and thinking?

Thinking would be the Monkees Head (really) There is so much weird shit and 60s music on this album, your mind goes all over the place.

Relaxing would be Liquid Tension Experiment.

Here I go again, rallying for the cause, although you guys probably won't even try to listen to it (but you should, before Napster goes down)

go to www.stonerrock.com
There, you will find some of the BEST music to get stoned to that you would not hear otherwise, really...

Let me begin:
--Black Sabbath (well, ok, you've heard them)
--Monster Magnet (nuff said)
--Kyuss (the Godfathers of Stoner Rock, been putting out albums since they were 15)
--Queens of the Stone Age (these guys might actually become popular...check out Rated R for some really trippy shit)--members of Kyuss
--Fu Manchu (drummer from Kyuss)
--Unida (singer of Kyuss)
--Solace and Slowing (2 LOCAL kick-ass bands)
--Raging Slab--stoner southern rock, new cd "The Dealer"
--Days of the New's 2nd album to get stoned on a nice sunny day

Let's see if I'm hearing this right
Is it just I should take
And never endings are glad
To carry out the dead
Your idols burn in the fire
The mob comes crawling out (take us down and out)
I'm reclaiming their minds
Destroying everyone

There's no one here
And people everywhere, you're all alone

Adolescent:

I gotta correct you. Green Day got their name when the Billy Joe's high school principal told him that it would be a "green day in hell" before he made anything of himself
