| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | I Can't even believe we would have this debate!!! STP wouldnt even be around if it wasnt for PJ!! I love STP but Pearl Jam is far more talented band. Both put on great lives shows although Pearl Jam is alittle more fun live because they change set lists from night to night. So you can see them more then once. Anyway you can't compare legends to followers. For anyone who say and NEW PJ or STP sucks your a tool that is still stuck in the 90's. Shawn | ||||

Anyone who says they have faded are not true music fans, and as for the song writing eddie vedder and the boys write lyrics second to none. ie... "rearview mirror" "corduroy" "soon forget" and countless others. long live pj | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | STP is so much better in concert. I saw Pearl Jam at Jones Beach in August for the Wednesday show..and it was like watching a geriatric group play. Eddie Vedder was drinking what appeared to be wine, and didn't show much interest in the crowd, or in his music. I don't doubt or take away from Pearl Jam's talent, but after wasting $30 on Pearl Jam and feeling cheated, I have to go with STP who have yet to disappoint. :) How I'm craving you, yeah! | Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00 | That wed show was actually a bad show. I was so dissapointed on how lame the my hometown crowd was. However the second and third night things picked up a lot. I saw about 30 PJ shows last summer all over the country and I would say the Jones Beacb Night 1 was the worst. It sucks you had to be there for that one. Shawn | ||||
