| Aerosmith, which was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year, has announced the initial batch of tour dates in support of its new album, "Just Push Play."
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry said in a recent AOL chat that the world tour will probably run for two years.
An itinerary provided by concert promoter SFX Entertainment lists the tour's kick-off date as June 6 in Hartford, Conn. Fuel is slated to open the shows, which will primarily hit amphitheaters and arenas.
The platinum-certified "Just Push Play" debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album charts last month. The first single, "Jaded" is No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week.
Aerosmith has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide over the course of its 25-year career, according to tour publicists.

| They may be sell-outs, but they still put on one hell of a show. Can't wait to see them again! Although I don't know if it could possibly top last time I saw them--in Boston, on New Years Eve. I actually got to meet Steve and Liv before the show. Steve was really nice, but Liv was kinda a bitch to my friends and I :(
A friend with weed is a friend indeed. A friend without it is a friend in need.
