Well it was cool seeing people like clapton and billy joel. But it wasnt the clapton or joel of old so it wasn't as great.

But best concert i can remember would have to be New Kids on The block at nassau collesium back in like 89.

The up in smoke tour with Eminem and Dre was ok too.

the absolute best concert i was ever at was the 1992 Lallapalooza.. the lineup was Pearl Jam, soundgarden, and a whole bunch of others, i cant seem to remember right now..
another great concert that i went to was actually back in august of 2000. I saw Fuel right before they released their new cd. they played a 1000 person venue at a small club and it rocked

Springsteen - 8/4/99 - "No Surrender Night"

great show, opened with No Surrender, played rarities like Back In Your Arms & For You....great show, but then again every Springsteen show is

After that, The Who playing Quadrophenia @ MSG was amazing.

I've seen alot of great shows but if I had to narrow it down to just one it would be Ozzy at the Roseland October '95 on the Retirement Sucks tour. He was in great shape, I was right there maybe 15 feet away from him in the pit, and he played for around 2 1/2 hours. And Fear Factory had a good set too.

Billy Joel at the garden on new years eve 2000 was great. Maybe it wasnt him at the apex of his career but the atmosphere was one of a kind. Everyone was just in this great mood and 12:00 was great.

I saw Billy Joel's last concert of his last tour, the one @ Continental that had been postponed. I was the first row off the floor, about 10 rows from the stage, amazing seats, great show...

I have a few:

Alanis Morissette - any of the 15 times I have seen her
NIN and A Perfect Circle - at MSG May of 2000 with a special appearance by Manson :)
Return of the Rock - Roseland October of 2000 with STP, Godsmack and Disturbed

There are a few more, but I can't think of them right now. :)

Kinda mellow (relatively speaking) but still kicked ass:
U2 Popmart (in '95, i think)

Steve Miller Band can put on a pretty good show, being that they're old, and stuff. :)

Two of the best concerts I have ever been to:

- Rolling Stones: Voodoo Lounge Tour, Giant Stadium, 20th row on the floor. I was deaf for 2 days and amazed that Keith Richards really does know how to play a guitar.

- Billy Joel: Yankee Stadium, Middle of floor. Awesome. Words can not express the talent that man has.

Concerts I was forced to go to for various reasons and regret to this day.

- Gloria Estafan: Radio City M. Hall - Girlfriend threaten to hold back nookie if I didn't go.
- New Kids On the Block: Giant Stadium, First Row front and center. My niece loved them and I scored tickets through a connection at Atlantic Records. The things I do for the love of my niece.

Led Zeppelin - The unfortunate last tour, Tour over Europe 1980, Frankfurt Germany. As a fifteen year old, I was blown away .

Rolling Stones 1994, Toronto Canada, with STP as the opening act.

The Who, Quadraphena @ MSG 1996, Jones Beach 2000

Dream Theater, Sparks 1992, Limelight 1993, any time I've seen them actually.

The John Entwistle Band, 1999. Ten feet away in a small club. The loudest band I've ever heard. And I was wearing ear plugs.

1. Pantera & Machine Head (at Roseland....98 or 99)........fucking killer, but what happened to MH? Needless to say, Pantera never has a lame show.
2. TOOL (every show rules, but Roseland was the best for sound)
3. Slayer & Messhugah
4. Slipknot

The best show i ever saw was about 1993 or 94, The Offspring at roseland. I have never been to a show that got me as pumped up as they did. That is one band that loves what they do and they put that vibe out to the whole audience
