What song can you tell from the first few notes?

* Stairway to Heaven
* Layla
* Your Latest Trick (it was in a Homicide episode and has for some reason stuck with me)
* Rage against the Machine's Cover to Street Fighting Man

Do you know how pale & wanton thrillful
comes death on a strange hour unannounced,
unplanned for like a scaring over-friendly
guest you've brought to bed

Brownstone... Appetite is certainly full of great openings, particularly Jungle and sweet Child, but not a bad song on the album ( in my opinion one of the 5 greatest rock albums of all time).

Froy... nothing personal, but you are a DEEK! :) I will be humming that damn song all night now.... thanks. Great Billy joel openings, The Stranger and you May Be Right (breaking glass = dead giveaway)

How about anything by Brittany Spears, if its on tv. I don't think one straight male can turn the channel until the video is over after hearing the opening to one of her songs.

There are tons if you just sit back and let it flow. One of my favorites is the opening to "Day After Day" by Badfinger. "Surrender" by Cheap Trick, and on and on ...
