| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | The summer concert season is here, and I was wondering what if any shows people were going to or anxiously awaiting tickets to go on sale for. As of now I am definitely going to: U2,Rolling Rock Town Fair (STP, Live, Incubus, Staind, Oleander, Deftones, Tantric), Ozzfest, and Godsmack. And speaking of concerts, TOOL goes on sale Saturday at 12.  How I'm craving you, yeah! | O&A Board Regular Registered: Dec. 00 | Thursday I am leaving for Atlanta for the Midtown Music Festival to see: Black Crowes Blues Traveler Bob Dylan Live Ben Harper Jerry Cantrell Train Days of the New Tantric The Cult...and like 40 other bands --Pantera/Slayer in Philly on the 22nd of June probably Tom Petty, George Clinton, and a ton of other shows depending on my $$$ situation  no-one ever tends to me. Right after the "yellow" album broke, Travis Meeks (lead singer, phenominal guitarist, with a Pete Townshend dick attitude) decided to go his own way musically and fired his best friends who he grew up with. They went their own separate ways...Travis continuing on with DOTN. the other guys picked up a new lead singer called the band Tantric & got signed to Maverick. Therefore, they are 2 separate entities. stick with PJ, leave the real music to me ;) LOL no-one ever tends to me. Sitting alone covered in breeze. Some things are so my mind can breathe. | Hanger-On Registered: Dec. 00 | I sure hope Dave Matthews sounds better by the time he gets here. I went to see thier first show of the tour at UVA and it sounded just like the new album. It was totally lacking that jam band mentality that I have grown to love. I just hope this isn't the beginning of a major sell out. | ||||
