| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Rumors, rumors, rumors. I have heard plenty of them lately about this project. I've heard some very far-fetched names thrown out there, for example, that members of the Melvins may be a part of this. It seems like just about every heavy rock musician has been implicated in this project. The sad truth of the matter is that supergroups are often a disaster (Temple of the Dog comes to mind). Of course, there are rare exceptions, such as A Perfect Circle, or Fantomas. Another sad reality is that alot of these guys (in my opinion) are totatlly lame, and they put out their best material 10 years ago, or longer. Rob Zombie is a total douche-bag, Trent Reznor's always sounds like he's dragging his ass, and Perry Farrel is a loser crack addict (ALLEGEDLY!!). Now that I said a bunch of negative stuff, some of those guys on that list still rule. Phil Anselmo kicks ass, Helmet kicked ass, and Prong totally ruled. It would be great to see some of them put out new material. Josh  | ||||

I liked White Zombie when they first gained notoriety (around 1992 or so), and as for Temple of the Dog, I always thought they were completely useless. I liked Soundgarden up until around 1992 or 93 (although they were at their best around 1988 or 89). I can't say much about Pearl Jam other than that they are totally mediocre and boring. All these bands I'm mentioning have long outlived their usefullness (ALLEGEDLY!). Josh | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Oct. 00 | Maynard, You hit the nail on the head! The Irving Plaza show was great! I made a bunch of melvins stickers and threw them out to people. Did you happen to get one? If not, you can send me a S.A.S.E. and I'll send you a few. Email my O/A address and we can coordinate. Anyway, the show ruled and they played a great combo of old and new, as well as some great cover tunes. Every time I go see the Melvins they do something new and interesting. I haven't seen Fantomas live yet. Their new album should be out this summer. Did you hear the new Altamont? Josh | ||||
