| Psychopath Registered: Sep. 00  | IN THE ORDER THEY HIT THE STAGE IN ORDER THEY HIT THEY STAGE ADEMA-Not bad and you can see the korn influence. I thik they have a ways to go to be big but you can see the poteltial. CRAZYTOWN-They suprised me how heavy they actually were. However they are just your typical crunch cheesie rap/rock band. Nothing really special and nobody seemed to enjoy them until they hit butterfly. DISTURBED-One of the best bands of the day. I was never a big fan because there CD is filled with songs that all sound the same. However live they pulled off a really good set with the exception of a horrbile cover of shout. 3 DOORS DOWN-CHEESE CHEESE CHEESE They just seemed alittle out of place. LINKIN PARK-Terrible.... People seem to really dig this guys but for the life of me I can't figure it out. They played the same heavy rap/rock crap that everyone else is playing. One step closer was ok but even that sounded like crap. PAPA ROACH- Ever since I saw them do there pathetic Nirvana cover on New Year Eve I swore I never listent to these guys again. So I went to get something to eat. From what they people around me said I didn't miss much. STAIND-WOW they kicked some major $@%$! ass..... I will never say anything bad about them again. They put on a set that rocked so hard and included slower songs like outside and its been ahwile. The emotion that Arron Lewis spills out of the stage is amazing and they have just become one of my favorite bands. They are not your $@%$! rap/rock band they just plain out rock. BLINK 182-I have been to about 300 concerts in my 24 years of life and they have to be the worst live act I have ever seen. They sounded terrible they could not even keep a note. There singing was crap and so was there playing. Don't get me wrong they have some catchy cool songs but live they sound so bad. However the little 13 year old boys and girls seemed to really like them. STP-The band of the evening!! They come on after Blink and blew the crowd away. They showed the little kids what a real rock band sounds like. Although I think Weiland in drag is kind of stupid. It kind of takes away from the great music they play. Anyway they were easily the highlight of the night again. JANE'S ADDICTION-I don't know who's dumb idea at Krock it was to have them headline. They have 2 major CD's and have not had a new CD in 10 years. Hence why half of the crowd seemed to get up and leave after STP's set. I felt bad because it was pretty clear a lot of people left. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Linkin Park's CD is pretty good, but they were pretty awful live. All in all, the DFP was pretty good, but the bad bands between the good ones totally killed the flow of the day. Disturbed was great as always, Staind was great, and STP...well the only thing I can say about them is...I can't wait to see them again in August. :)  All I've undergone I will keep on Underneath it all We feel so small The heavens fall But still we crawl All I've undergone I will keep on | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Nov. 00 | S.T.P. flat out rulez. I got there during Stained, and they shocked me. Was not a fan until I saw them. Blink 182 flat out sucks. Die, get in the coffin sirs. I enjoyed the Britney Spears concert I brought my daughters to last year(alright, the T. and A. factor may have had something to do with it). And then came the Pilots. I LOVE THIS FUCKING BAND. Saw them blow away the Chilli Peppers last year and became a huge fan. I thought Scott in tight pink hot pants and a pink halter top was great. I ain't gay, not that there is anything wrong with that, but it just adds to his "Rock Star" persona. The guy oozes carisma from every pour in his body. And I think you are giving Janes Addiction a bad rap. They would have been the best band that I saw, but when you have to follow S.T.P., you are in trouble. Perry is no Scott. It was just a little anti-climatic of a finish. And by the way Shawn, help me with my STP post, everyone is bashing me. I shucked it, and I shucked it, and I shucked it, i'm quite the mother shucker! | ||||

Half the venue got up and left after STP because they had no clue who Janes was. Alls I am saying was they should have had a more popular band playing last. SHawn | ||||
