Do you ever post anything that isn't a plug for the Toadies?

You listen to me! While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is I am a nay-sayer and a hatchet man in the fight against violence! I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King! My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method...is love. I love you, Sheriff Truman.

Any NYC shows?

I saw them open for the Butthole Surfers a few years ago and was completely blown away, one of the few times I've been happily suprised by an opening band.

BoxOfWine will be attending the Mr. Brownstone Academy of Dance until 7/20, one more opening available.

Do you ever post anything that is worth reading or are you a post number whore?

Do a search buddy and you'll see what I reply to.

Why do you have a problem with me posting about the TOADIES, yet no one seems to care about the countless Pearl Jam & Metallica threads.

Mr. Brownstone, they played 2 months ago at the Bowery Ballroom in the city. Here is where they will be on the East Coast this month.

7/12/01 Showplace - Buffalo NY
7/13/01 Birch Hill Nite Club - Old Bridge NJ
7/14/01 Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel - Providence RI

I like the Toadies...

...but I will say Birch Hill is like the 'final resting place' for some rock stars ((not all))... I think Cinderella played there last week, I know Vanilla Ice has a show there soon, and I've seen Dee Snider there a lot.

Hope the Toadies can break the vicious cycle of crap ((ok, Snider's kinda cool))

Toadies are a very excellent band. Birch Hill from the outside looks like a tornado hit the place! Very local.
