| Hanger-On Registered: Jun. 01  | BalloonNot is a friend of mine on this board and in the chatroom. When this whole Bar9 thing went down I had just started coming around this place. I didn't know anyone accept him and Brokenjaw through a few online conversations. So I kept my mouth shut. I didn't form any opinions since I wasn't there and heard conflicting accounts of what transpired. I watched him fear for his place around here, lay low for a while, make the appropriate apologies to the appropriate people, hold his head high at the next Bar9, without alcohol, I should add, and slowly reestablish his friendships. This was over a month ago. Recently, BN joined the Socialist C-Bloc Freedom Fighters in the name of independence for all who post, and, although a separate forum, all who chat in Foundry. I told him that it would be a good idea to stand with us in light of what he had been involved in. I told him that his reputation would be restored by his association with our reputable Party and our strong alliances to the other Parties. And I told him that, with the exception of a few big mouths, that although those events would not be forgotten, that at least he would be seen for his current actions and not the past. BalloonNot continues to be a prescence here despite the vile and relentless attacks that seem not to disappear. Tool me if you will, some of you dickwads can't help yourselves. It's a given that when men get together, the cocks come out and the measuring starts. :::::::unzips his pants making the onlooking females swoon and the onlooking dickwads look up and whistle:::::: However...In the name of the independence and liberty that my Party stands for, and the honor of our alliances, and BalloonNots sincerest efforts toward contrition, I respectfully request that the cowardly and contrived attacks cease immediately. Those of you who know me know that I am a pretty decent dude and have some insight into things. And believe it or not, I have had occasion to serve up some of the more assholesque behavior. Not a big surprise, right? Let me ask you...Who among us has not had that one too many beers or hits on the bong or shots of tequila, and perpetrated a foolish or offesive act on another human being? Who among us has not placed an unwelcome hand on an unwelcomed thigh or hip? Who among us has not regretted saying something to a woman and wished to god that we could take it back? Anyone? Anyone? I was not at Bar 9 and therefore do not know what happened there but what I do see is on the board is tension happening because of BN. BN is causing bad problems for the Bloc that are not necesary. I don't want to see people taking up other people's arguments...and those people being argued for should be keepin their trap shut too. It's over with...if the situation being talked about comes up again, it will be dealt with quickly then and there. If it doesn't...then it should be history. Nobody should be throwing it in anyone's face. And nobody should be arguing that the blame was unfair. It wasn't. Don't like it...tough. Enough people were there to assess.
