| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 01  | Everybody says that the bashing should stop, yet, I asked a simple question in a new thread and got bashed. That's why I only have a few posts, and refuse to contribute. I've been coming to this website for over 6 months and registered a few months ago to post a reply to help someone out. All anyone wants to do is fight. Call me a Dillon and a newbie all you want, but you're never gonna get the full participation from your 10,000 + members this way. This message board could be sooooo much better without all the negativity. | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Nortonrules, I just saw your post in the GD forum, and even though it may have been a valid question, these pop-up are here for a very good reason. Pretty much they generate revenue for the board so it's stays up and running. If we were all to shut them down just because they were a little annoying then there would be a problem monetary wise. What I was trying to say, before my thread got buried over here was it was unnecessary bashing. I'm sure if the thread wasn't so quicked discarded, there would have been other that supported what I was saying, and not just people with a few posts. Like one of you high and mighties said, I can just turn channel, but how about adopting a policy of not responding to something you deem unworthy of valid response. That's my solution. If you think a thread is studip, skip past it, don't try to prove how knowledgeable you are by putting other people down. You're right, it is like high school - "JUVENILE" Call me pussy - but that's not gonna solve the problem. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | Nortonrules -- Have you thought about getting adopted? In GD there is a forum on how to go about doing this. But you have to make the first move and either IM or email somebody. This works 2 fold, one you are told some of the do's and don'ts and second your given some what of a break while your in training. I dont know you Nortonrules so I cant understand why you, or anyone else, could take anything I say about you on a MESSAGE BOARD seriously. You want civility all the time? Or fight back. If a mod or respected vet tells you you're an idiot, then learn from it. And shut up. :) If you don't know how to tell the knowledgable vets from the post whores, adoption may help, or just pay attention to what you read.
